  1. Yes, and it violates Y!A guidelines.

Yes it is bad manners.  That's when I hit "Report It" and type in the additional comments section that they failed to answer the question.  Answers that post a link to another question get this.  Sometimes lame answers like someone who just typed "kkkkkk" followed by a "please answer my question" *LINK* may get it too.  Otherwise, if you answered their question, I don't like the link to your own, but I'll shrug it off.

    I would love to follow those links back to that person's question and tell them what I think about them, but I don't want to be reported for my own answers.  :(

  5. But asking costs points, and answering earns them.

    Yahoo has considered this.

  6. You need to consider that that person may not know anything about the question you're asking and will probably give you a bad answer.
