No, Kobe doesn't suck when compared to MJ.  Kobe sucks HARD when compared to MJ.

You can't compare a player (kobe) whose game is patterned after the other player.  Plus the two had their time to shine in different eras.  MJ did things for basketball that Kobe will never get a chance to do, because its been done already.   A carbon copy for the most part looks like the original, but we all know which one came first and will always be better.

Well no one can touch MJ, but I wouldn't say kobe sucks. MJ has a fabulous personality on top of it.

To be honest, ALL current NBA players, suck compared to Jordan...BTW I'm a "90's Jocker" not a "Jordan Jocker"....Jordan holds basically every record, highest ppg ALL-TIME, shot over 50% for career with bulls, 2nd ALL-TIME in steals, 9 time all defensive first team, former DPOY, 5 MVP'S, 6 Finals MVP's
