  1. a confession is the purpose to clean your soul...thats all

  2. no, some things are better left unsaid. it will depend on the person, but usually theyll have a gut instinct about whether they should confess or keep it to themselves.

  3. It is supposed to be! And at times we ought to do it but I have my reserves about it.

Sometimes it is better to keep some things to ourselves than chancing hurting the person listening.

For example my dear hubby, he gets hurt rather easily so I rather not tell him some things until I see the right time for it.

I can tell many things to "some friends" but most things I rather deal with my greatest "friend" up there...

  4. it is, it makes u feel better

i do all my confessing to my friends Matt and Adan

i feel so sorry for those boys having to put up with me lol

and no nothing is off limits they know everything

  5. Yes.

    Whomever I have wronged.

Nothing is off limits, unless I'm in denial.

  6. Yes, but not to everything... Some thing are better to be hidden from the truth...

  7. yes i think its good to confess if you lied or so on... but i think its ridiculous to think you can do something bad then go to a confession to a man and be forgiven... come on now lol

  8. Of course I agree that confession is good for the soul!  But sometimes there are things that u can't confess...  not even to urself!

...But I want to know...  who do YOU confess to???

Ps:  Missing you and missing all my friends here...  Muah!

  9. Oh Me!!! you read Coelho!!! I just finished the Alchemist for the third time, I take it out every couple of years and read it again.

Anyway, back to Jeddo, I'm an introvert, self sufficient, fine by myself kinda person. I have no need to confess or talk to people about my life, I do answer when asked and I don't think I have any off limits topics.

wow!! I just realized: I don't get angry, I don't talk to people: I must be a walking timebomb !!

  10. In "The Zahir" a book by  Paolo Coelho, he says that telling your personal legend to anyone will help you get rid of it and will keep it from getting back to you and hitting you in the back. It's a good theory, good results also; so whomever u confess to, helps u get rid of that burden of keeping things secret and not talking the forbidden and so on, in religion, it's religious guys, but actually u might as well trust in ur parrot and say everything u have inside out loud and u will feel EXTREMELY fine afterwards, connect with the better person in the inner u

  11. Going back to my answer to the last question regarding "expressing anger"....I'm not very good at confessing to people.

I'm a great listener...always have been,  people just open up to me and spill their entire lives to me. And once they do, they look so much happier for it...but i can't do that...

I have one best friend that I confess to once in a while because i know that he's not judging me.....but I do keep my relationship matters very private..

Otherwise, I tend to confess in song :) I love singing and playing my guitar, so sometimes I just sit on my balcony at night (whenever I'm not too bushed from work) make up a little tune and just sing about whats bothering me..oh my gosh!!?! I guess you can call that the "Blue's" or "Country Music" ;p

Long story short, "no man is island"..you need to confess/share things with at least one trusted person or you'll burst and no good can come of that

  12. Yes, because you shouldnt keep stuff bottled up inside, and it makes you feeel better to get something off your chest, and share it with someone important to you

  13. To confess means:

    To disclose

To admit or acknowledge something damaging or inconvenient to oneself

So it's kinda when you talk abt something that is bothering you...you can talk with a friend, and doing that will make you feel better.

About off limit subjects, it depends on how much I trust the friend I'm talking to. But sometimes, confessing something to a close friend might cause discomfort, as much as you love and trust that friend some things are better off never told...that is why talking to a total stranger (like a priest for example) helps a lot.

NOW, what would you like to confess, we're all ears...or eyes
