The Federal Reserve decides to reduce the LT rate, acting like people just don't have enough money... but the problem is the jobs are gone. We need investment in PEOPLE... it's called GOOD JOBS. I suggest we go green and start building solar cells here really cheap. What' s wrong with my idea?

  1. Noooooo..... It's actually more like setting a car on fire with gas while it's parked inside the garage of a condo!!! Althought the fire may be in one part, it will quickly spread to the other units. And before you know it, the whole structure has gone up in smoke...! The bail out of B&S is only a stop gap measure. In time, we are going to see the flames rise from other parts of the financial structure which some thought were sound and safe from the flames caused by the B&S mess!!!

  2. I agree. Why don't you hire some people and start building them.

It is amazing how many people know just what other people should do with their money.

  3. If it can be done solar cells will be made cost effectively. Bear Stears stock holders took on heck of a beating. JPM bought Bear not the fed. Your idea smells like rotten meat.

  4. nothing wrong with your idea,

the Bear/Stearns bailout is just a little more proof that corporate america has the gov't bought and paid for.  they can lose billions of dollars, ship jobs overseas, hire illegal workers and price gouge the average citizen to the point where some call the american economy a euthanizing economy, it kills everyone who weak and sick.

an mean while they think a 160 million stimlus package spread over 130 million people will start solveing the problems.

you know they could let bear/stears collapse and just pay off 100 million people's credit card bills with the 30 billion they won't spend on the bad morgages.   that might spur the economy some.

  5. Hey,Thats the best Idea I`ve heard rerarding this problem! I wish solar power was allowed to be a lil cheaper....come on!
