My opinion is that both parties are very keen to establish peace and even has been agreed for the creation of a Palestinian State for the Palestinian people. The problem is that there are some countries who does not want this to happen as they like this issue to be prolonged in their interest so that this issue can be used as an exuse for their benefit. It is sad to see the Palestinians suffer on their expense. I don't understand why some people enjoy doing this and never reailise that if this happen to them how would they feel.

  1. yes

  2. You are wrong when you say that both parties want peace.

If you read Hamas' chararter, it clearly states that they are h**l bent on the total destruction of Israel.  It's no secret, yet politicians keep trying to make names for themselves by getting involved in so called "peace" efforts.

When the PALS want peace (for real)  Israel will give it to them.

  3. Peace cannot be achieved if only one party is serious. The Palestinians have chosen terror over negotiation. Even when they did negotiate it was in bad faith. They cannot even agree among themselves. How a peace agreement can be reached under these circumstances is beyond me!

  4. yes, it is time that Palestine is getting told to hold peace, Israel was trying for a long time for that, but there was no 'suffering' on the palestnian side. Before that, they broke every sign for peace and wanted Israel out of the map. I wonderwhether they include Israel on their  maps again and stop the bombings.

    Israel had enough of that.

  5. All polls show that majorities of both Israelis and Palestinians want peace. Unfortunately, there are minorities on both sides who -- for one reason or another -- do not want peace.

Leaders on both sides are afraid to make the compromises that would be required to make peace. That's why it would be important for the United States to put pressure for peace on both sides. That way, leaders could say, "America made us do it."

  6. a lasting peace will never happen.

  7. Both sides want peace, but to each side, the word peace means something different.

To the Israelis, "Peace" means that they are basically left alone.

To the Palestinians, "Peace" means that the Israelis cease to exist.

  8. Israel must return the land to which the Palestinians are entitled so that peace will finally reign in the Middle East.
