  1. Yes, very true statement!

  2. Sole cause of every "thing" in existence is self-delusion.

  3. Nature is our mother, but who is the father?  At this point in our evolution we have a material body born from the material elements, but because we are conscious, sentient beings as well, our "image" is from the father, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. If we ignore the fact that we are  conscious living beings  then it may be possible to see nature as the source of everything in this world. Yet we know consciousness does exist and without being conscious observations or speculations about life are impossible. Does a stone think?

So the answer is no. Because nature is not the source of consciousness, the essence of our life, then nature is not the source of everything in the world, what to speak of the spiritual realm where there is nothing but consciousness.

  4. Without logic, nothing could exist, everything is here because of a lack of chaos:)

  5. Yes. The sole cause of everything in existence is 'nature'. Who controls 'nature'. Who exercises influence on nature. There must be a person responsible for maintaining the balance in nature. Who does this? In our human body, we have mental faculty through which we can try to find some sort of explanation. Sometimes nature plays havoc, like cyclonic storm, tsunami, floods, earthquakes, heavy downpour, lightning, etc. Nature consists of five basic elements viz. earth, water, tejas (brightness), air and space. It is interesting to know about these five elements.

In the universe everything is made up of these five elements only. All creations are also made up of these five elements. The universal and individual aspect of these five elements have got some intrinsic cosmic relations. Universe is in macro level and the individual in micro level. If we know how to maintain a best correlation between individual and universal nature, we become highly qualified to lead a happy and peaceful life. The remedy for all individual problems can be found if one can maintain this relation. It is a secret knowledge. But secret never remains secret. Nature reveals it. We should know how to explore this potential form.

  6. Yes, I would suggest the sole cause of everything in existence appears to be attributable to the temporal state of nature. I might be tempted to rephrase the statement "The sole *function of everything in *nature is *existence." The ability to exist more efficiently and defy odds seem to be precisely the qualities passed from generation to generation.

What I think we are talking about here Nietzsche called "the will to power"; which kinda means that which attains most power retains the right to exist. Nietzsche clung to this idea as his most fundamental when he said "The world itself is the will to power - and nothing else! And you yourself are the will to power - and nothing else!" He even went so far as to say that it is the closest thing in nature to aboslute truth.

Even though I cannot say what is true and false in terms of the basis of existence - prerequisite physical or spiritual phenomena, it makes sense that what we can be sure of is the right to exist is dependent on our forefathers ability to defy downfall and facilitate power and subsequently gain: prosperity. If I may use a church as an analogy: the church is there to promote its brand of religion [culture] above others. Therefore different churches compete for the right to exist and outlive opposing churches. Architects compete to find more solid structures to defy weather and gravity and strengthen the symbol of itself. Therefore, I would suggest that the sole function of the church is its ability to stay standing - the sole function of the church in nature is existence.

As you have noticed, I have replaced the term cause with function. This is because 'cause' implies a reasoning that precedes the existence of something. The idea that existence itself requires a sole cause implies that the cause exists outside existence.. something of a paradox.. solvable by spirituality [the creator] or in Niezsches case eternal return. To my mind that is the only queston that will always remain too big to attempt answering.

  7. I agree that this is the most logical position to assume based upon my limited experience.

  8. Yes, I consider Nature to be the "Soul" cause.

  9. No, what caused nature?

  10. If I go by logic, I have to disagree if you imply that existence must have been caused...... because I believe that our logic can never log on to any primary or original cause....... everything is a part of a very complex chain of cause and effect which is simply causing transformations and can not be seen logically to create anything out of nothing. Existence of everything therefore must be seen as eternal which is being constantly kept in a dynamically changing state by Nature.

However, I do accept that our logic can not be taken to be foolproof or all-inclusive!!

  11. 'Nature' is a complex idea. Anything that is real (and this is everything that exists) is part of Nature. The Supernatural is a side of nature that is hidden from us, until we develp an ability to see a little bit of it.

What's odd and so exciting about this modern period is that people are becoming adept at manipulating genes. Soon we will be creating life forms. This is natural too, as Nature gave us the brains to do it.

So yes, Nature is the cause of everything, if you include humans as part of Nature, and I don't see how you can't.

  12. The cause of everything in Nature is Nature. But what is the cause of Nature?

  13. The soul cause of existence is energy. Whilst energy drives, inspires, empowers will, existence as we know it remains, simply transforming and manifesting in different variants of the life form know as mankind. The function of this will to power and existence is survival. The function of survival is to increase energy mass. The cause is transmission of energy to receptors likely to strengthen this energy.

Positive energy is Love, life giving m rejuvenating and cleansing. Negative energy is toxic caused by hate and the poisonous vigour it creates. These two dual energy forces prolong existence albeit constantly battling for dominance. This war is manifested within each individual, home and society as battle for dominance.

The will to power is mans versatility top adapt to his constantly changing environment whilst retaining cohesion with the underling unchangeable consistency. The ability to increase in measure of positive energy and the power and influence it creates albeit a control of one’s own will and mind, household and fraternity. The dysfunctional chaos degenerated into a high maintenance verging upon the ungovernable society we have at present is caused by a dangerous parity of both positive and negative energies not increasing independently but simply firing one another, neither growing or diminishing. An enduring vicious cycle of pain, gain and loss, birth, death and rebirth without progress or maturing in self sufficiency and the autonomy that creates a perfect society and world.

Indeed the church is evidence of this dual parity of the positive and negative. If any church were adept and competent it would ideally produce a creed of perfect individuals. We would all immediately convert to be party to this perfection yet this is not so. Churches now promote themselves on a singular edict upon which they seek to acquire a certain type of individual ultimately to sell out when failing to do so and adopt an indiscriminate policy, rendering the orginal beliefs defunct thereby.

  14. Evolution is the cause of everything. it was an improvement in quality which caused the universe and inorganic matter to be created  it was improvement in quality which caused life to supercede inorganic matter, it was increase in quality that caused that life to deny it own biological urge to kill and instead socialise, and it is evolution which puts us in the socio-intellectual battleground we are now in as we strive to make a better global society.

now you'll have to decide if i agree with you by deciding if you think this Evolution is natural it changes the nature of things but is that in itself natural? does a man act in a natural way by killing as his unfettered urge might be or is it his improvement in quality ( his evolution ) in avoiding that urge and, not killing but, socialising with his fellow men that should be counted as his true nature?

  15. Certainly seems to be...But who is controlling nature???????

  16. and who create the nature

  17. It could have been a Large Hadron Collider....

  18. Not for manufactured objects

Only naturally occurring phenomina - from sub atomic to galactic.

  19. Nature is not a cause outside of its self.

  20. I agree it is due to the adaption of nature
