  1. if u are talkin about comments yes but when a game is on no

  2. nope.

every Old Firm fan is biased, even when it comes to daft things like who they want in the Scotland squad, which though is quite understandable as id NEVER say a Clyde player was better than S***e

personally i dont take much notice to fans who will argue about which country thier football team supports as Both teams are Scottish. But in saying that there are thousands of Old Firm fans who real football fans and know all about the game.............just not about how to look straight down the line between thier two respectful clubs

  3. I'll go ask the wife.

She said there is more chance of micheal phelps drowning.

So that would be a no.

  4. I try to be as rational as I can but you're right there's always a slight bias towards your team.

  5. hmm no I dont think so. the only way for the person to be unbiased about it is if the person (oh, umm, me) doesnt care about the game or who wins.

  6. Yes, it's not hard to watch a Rangers game and be objective. I clearly want decisions to go against them, them not to score, them to get beat.

I've watched decsions go against Rangers (and been happy), but felt in my own mind that it should have been a goal or they should have had a penalty etc. Much the same I've seen decisions go Celtics way that I felt shouldn't have, Jan's penalty against St Mirren, was never a penalty and Caldwell clearly brought down that Dundee Utd player and it should have been a penalty.

If rangers play well and win, fair play, I'm not going to go on about the ref being an orangeman etc, I'm not saying I'll applaud them, but I can respect the fact that they have played well.

It's when somebody starts to have a go at your team that you become defensive and then starts the banter, the trading of insults etc and the tinted glasses get put on.

We will always see things differently, but that dosen't mean we have to be biased.

  7. I agree.  I think it is just inevitable that you will be biased towards the team you support, you cant look at things objectively like a neutral would.

  8. I don't think there is. There is so much passion and pride involved in that fixture that it makes it virtually impossible for either faction to be non biased, what they will be able to say is whether their own lot played well or not, but not many will praise the other side, but I'm not sure there if they will go as far as to praise their bitter rivals. I could be wrong!!

  9. if it was just about football then of course....unfortunately many see it as being a vent for their religous and political beliefs.

players included..until this stops there is no way there will ever be a non biased fan.

yesterday before the match we were all in the reception area watching the Rangers game..there were lots of unbiased people there ;-)

  10. I am a Tim from Blackhill and my girlfriend is a hun from Castlemilk with 1690 tattoed on her arm. We have bridged the great divide and we are living proof that it can be done. Bigotry is for fools.

  11. You will always get the bigots these are the people who don't know any better cause they are too thick to realise they are in the wrong

  12. My older sister genuinely is. She is forever telling me to take my green tinted specs off

  13. I would'nt class myself as biased as all you know,i am more of club protective, than club biased

    what's wrong with that?

  14. yes me . rangers are quality ,and celtic are sh*te. There you go. not biased just what i see. and if thats not right your wrong.

  15. in the company of other unbiased fans i can and do.however when chatting to muppets i tend to rip the p**s a wee bit.

  16. where i grew up there wasnt any of the shite you get now,if you liked one or the other didnt matter just a lot of p**s taking,im a rangers fan my old man was and my bro are celtic, have dear friends thet support both sides(even a couple of hearts fans)if were shite were shite and same goes other way but will say something has to be done bout the refs
