i just don't get how people can say it's our job to fight for the oppressed people of Sudan, only to turn around and badmouth us for helping oppressed people (Iraq anyone?). i'm sick and tired of the U.S. being the world's *****. they hate us until they need us. then we go do their bidding like dogs, only to come back to boos and calls of imperialism.

i swear, most of the world has their head shoved so far up their own asses that they use their stomach bile as mouthwash.

choose a side: either want the U.S. to help people, or want other countries to deal with their own god forsaken problems for a change.

Absolutely!  I would volunteer for that deployment in a heart beat! Putting a stop to genocide is one of the most noble missions I could ever hope to be tasked with.

There are over 400 US troops in Djibouti, did you ask yourself what they are doing in a peaceful country?

Well, now days US troops will not be a peace keepers like they did in Somalia in 1993, they are in Djibouti to wait the expansion of the Islamists in Horn of Africa and when they reach in Djibouti to go in. I can't understand why they wait that to happen. Islamists are taking over city after city once again in Somalia and that means a place for them to plot their attacks even in Djibouti against the TFHOA there.

the atrocities in Darfur are horrendous. these are the things worth fighting for; not oil and pipe lines. too bad we're spread so friggin thin already. i wonder why?
