  1. you sound like you are asking if dog and bird relationships work...people are people..c'mon.

  2. I have a few blind friends who have been in a relationship like this either dating or a married relationship. A blind  person does not see the color of skin and they value the person underneath the skin. The blind friends I have who have been married to a person of a different color did encounter prejudice and discrimination but they were allready dealing with discrimination because they were blind so they just ignored it. I think the relationship can work out if you are ready to deal with discrimination. People always talk and gossip all the time.DEM

  3. im currently in an interracial relationship, im white and my boyfriend is asian (he was adopted from south korea) . i dont see why race would make it not work. we havent been dating for too long, but its going great.

  4. I am not in one, but I know people who are in one. Sure, it can work out. It just requires effort from both parties, as is with all other relationships. I guess the ones I've seen are somewhat working. There's a bit of problems sometimes, but it's all good.

    -----------

I do know someone in that kind of relationship. Though I may not agree with it because of a certain event(caused by the woman), the guy is happy, it's his choice.

I would find no problem with an interracial community, as I am part of one of the "minorities" in America, the Asian(me)/Asian-Americans/Pacific Islander.

In America, where there is supposed to be equality, it should be no problem. Although not always a common thing, it probably is more common nowadays for an interracial relationship. I see it as progress, in a sense. When barriers are broken and nothing is no longer considered abnormal, it will be a sign that true equality is in America.

  5. Many many years ago ( I was a teenager) I went out with an Asian lad - but it was a nightmare because of his parents views, I accidentally rang his home one day and his mum called me a F ing white prostitute (not that exact word obviously)  maybe it was harder because we were young, but  it did not stand a chance because of his parents prejudiced against me and an interracial community would not have changed that.
