Do you agree with John McCain Putting the convention on hold because of the hurricane?

It will be the first time in history that a convention has been changed or scaled back. They are doing it out of respect for the possible victims. They don't want to be celebrating while fellow Americans are in danger.

  1. It would be hard to celebrate when others are suffering or potentally threatened, its only common sense really!  :)

  3. Personally, I kind of disagree with it; however, the partisan politics are so bad that it would have been thrashed by the democrats and likely will be anyway.  

    To me, announcements regarding the situation in New Orleans and establishing a command post for appropriate elected leaders would have been adequate.  

    Republicans need to show responsibility verses having a three day episode of Star Search.

  5. I think is the wise and sensible thing to do, besides people is more concern with the development of Gustav more than what McCain or Bush have to say about their political party

  6. This Country can only take one big wind at a time. Another Political Convention at the same time as this Hurricane would be just too much senseless hot air.
