  1. I'm not American.

    I consider myself upper class.

    I earn very little.

Class and money are not the same.

    Those who think they are..........................

    may have money....................

    but definitely no class

  2. spinning a off coment joke, may not want to take the Moveon.org talking points too seriously....and you follow a guy who made $4 million a year, got a sweethart deal from a convicted felon, and vacations on a private beach...

Now picks as his VP a Washington Insider far longer than McCain....

    So wheres that basic economics...

  3. That comment was a joke, brainiac, and he laughed about it and said it was a joke.  Sheeeesh, what drivel.

  4. As McCain said at the time, his statement 'will be misquoted'. Thanks for proving him correct.

  5. It was said as a joke, and I doubt that is any near as low as middle class.

It is quite low when you think of how much the mega-rich make.

When you are making that much money $100K is just change.

Check out the average income for Americans.

  6. He didn't say that.  He said that those who earn $5 million are rich.  I certainly don't consider those bringing in $5 million annually to be poor.

  7. Not at all... what was he thinking?

  8. It is not about the amount of money someone makes. McCain is 100% right on this and Obama is trying to pander to the left.

Here is what McCain is really meant, when he said "5 Million".

He is trying to imply that in this country it should be encouraged to make as money as you can and the hard you work, the more you will be rewarded.

Obama is saying he will tax the people making over $250k, this means that the more successful you are in life, the more you should owe the government. It simply just sends the wrong message.

Also, don't think for a second that Obama will only raise taxes on people making over 250k, he will increase everyone taxes, whether it be directly or indirectly.

When you tax the rich, it causes prices to go up because businesses will need to charge more to make the same money they were making before.

We live in a capitalistic society, this is another one of Obama's socialist views that will never work in this country.

  9. McCain will eat quiche if he has too---after all he ate fish soup for breakfast for a few years---but he probably prefers something more substantial.

Obama gets a light in his eyes with his "250,000" figure.

Michelle is already thinking about which of Cindy McCain's houses she's gonna take for herself, because """its not fair"""" that Mrs. McCain gets to enjoy the legacy of  parents and grandparents, etc.

stop the whining, it makes US weak

    just vote for McCain

  10. Watch the debate again.  McCain said that comment would be distorted, you just prooved him right and show the liberal lies that penetrate this board.
