  1. Law enforcers must be against drugs and not against its prohibition.  The mandate of the the law is against its mission - to reduce the multitude of unintended harmful consequences resulting from fighting the war on drugs and to lessen the incidence of death, disease, crime, and addiction by ultimately ending drug prohibition.

  2. No. Prohibition against alcohol during Prohibition in the 1920's made money for gangsters and was eventually repealed. Same will happen here. Drug pushing  disguised as medical people allow so why not legalise make more tax money. Besides there is an Amendment about unreasonable search and seizure. Unless murder about to be committed then interference not required. Not police matter. Is a moral objection. Services there to deal with addiction.
