I agree with it. Even if it was the children's first flight they should have been better prepared for handling the situation.

  1. I have read about past situations where mothers and their autistic kids have been kicked off flights due to unruly behavior.  And even though this mom had an autistic child and a child w/ cerebral palsy, I dont think that this woman had a strong enough case to gain sympathy for what happened.

First off, the flight attendants asked repeatedly for the mom to control her kids.  There is nothing in any of the articles I've read on this matter indicating that the mother made ANY sort of attempt to control her children or even follow the flight attendants' requests.

Also keeping in mind, she still had two other non disabled children with her.  These two children shouldve been quite easy to control and discipline had the mother maintained it (again, no proof of it anywhere).  And they could have been the more unruly ones.

In the past cases the situation usually involved a flight attendant who was rude in handling a difficult situation with an autistic child.  This is not the case.  There is no evidence of flight attendants acting rude and there was more than just a autistic child and a cerebral palsy child causing trouble.  This situation was considered more threatening (not to mention more annoying) to passengers and airline safety than any similar cases like this in the past.

Not to mention someone made a claim that the adults were acting unruly on the flight as well.

  2. Southwest Airlines is a bunch of raciest PIGS!!!! and are always picking on people.

  3. If you can't handle your kids whether they are perfectly healthy or they have some disorder it shouldn't matter if they are acting up and not listening to the flight crew they deserve to be kicked off and they definitely should have to find a different way home. Flying is a luxury it's not a necessity they could have taken a bus they could have rented a car, etc. If they felt like their children couldn't handle being on an airplane.
