  1. Yes, i do! Yesterday's match is the perfect example of that! It was "low scoring" but at the same time was exciting! During the Lankan's inning...it seemed as if India is gonna win the match easily but when the Lankan medium pacers took some early wickets then the match seemed to go in their favour but finally India won that match - all thanks to Zaheer, Virat, Dhoni and Badri!

  2. Yes.

Defiant batting is as absorbing as attacking batting when matches are closely fought.

  3. very exciting , i'm looking forward to India Australia series and hoping that no one can cross a score of 100 and India should make pitches which should be vicious turners !

afterall how many sporting wickets India gets when they visit Australia, South Africa or Sri Lanka !

    hope it helps!

    god bless!

  4. i agree

  5. yes y not. if oppose team played bad

  6. Definateley.

  7. Yes, I agree !

  8. Tony hits the bull's eye with this statement.  I remember many such low scoring matches.  Who can forget 1983 final.  Then there was a final match in Sharjhan in mid 80s against Pakistan where India made just 125 runs but won it.  There are many more.

  9. Yes, especially in test. the best test are low scoring test. thats also where you see exceptional single batting displays aswell

  10. h**l yeah

    every run then becomes crucial

  11. i agree wid cj it has to be close regardless of the score....defending 200 is tough but when successful, its even better than a regular win and makes the game unpredictable...but i feel if u compare the aus-sa 440 chase and another equally close but low-scoring game u'd say the higher one is better jus cuz the pressure of the number is higher

  12. yes i do. low scores heighten the intensity of the game. players think they are easily able to score but the bowlers are far more intense and throw up huge speeds. this usually results in quick wickets and applied pressure to the batting order. sometimes its harder to score 150 runs then 450.

  13. Agree ! Very.

Yesterday's match was more interesting than the 300 chase in Pak. I have a short memory, so cannot remember others.

  14. Yes,Low Scoring games are exciting especially when underdog wins the match.

To Mask,The word sporting doesn't suit Indian Cricket team. How sporting pitches India gave to Australia in 2004,South Africa in 2007.The world knows everything.

In fatc,Australia gave sporting wickets in 2003 and 2007 series to India and even South Africa And Sri Lanka did otherwise how India would have won one match!!!!

  15. Sometimes. It just depends on how the chase goes

  16. I totally agree.

Low scoring games can be extremely tense and exciting as every single run counts and any sort of collapse is likely to be fatal to the result. The key to making them so interesting is recovery. It’s the whole balance between bat and ball which makes it more intriguing than a runs dominated match. The whole match can hinge on just one delivery or one wicket. :)

  17. Indeed, it just has to be a "close" game to be EXCITING!

  18. Of course! Low scoring games are the most exciting!
