players under differnt countries play under the names of Mumabi Indians, Rajasthan Royals etc.,Similarly, Dhoni and Warne are made as Captains for the teams whose names are noway related to them

It is INDIAN Premier League.

Foreign players have been contracted to play FOR India and its Regional team.

So while they are under contract, they are playing as and for the team that has selected them.

Who are we to agree or disagree with the names chosen by the person who owns them. We may not like them, but can do nothing about it.

maybe that's new to cricket but if u look at other sports, like football for instance, players play for different teams, most of the time in different countries.

for example, Ronaldinho plays for Barcelona. but is he Catalan?? or Spanish for that matter??

Is David Beckham American?? but still he plays for LA galaxy !!

Tony parker is French, yet he plays for San Antonio in NBA. Yao Ming is Chinese, n& he plays for Houston.

The teams have been auctioned and purchased by different Franchisees from India.  The Franchisees have every right to give whatever name they like to their team and they have finalised the names of their choice.

Y , I think there is no Issues with any of the names,

dat is a Different thing that the Teams are no performing according to their names

As ROYAL Challengers Bangalore, although they are ROYAL but not living up to their Name

In Kings XI Punjab There Should Not be "XI" as Team Also Had Extra Players , Coach & Other Officials.

The Names KINGS & ROYAL are also common.

Don't forget Mumbai Indians team is not owned by Pollock or Shane Warne.It is owned by an Indian businessman.He has every right to use the word 'Indian' with the Mumbai team.
