Do you agree with the prediction of 15% bump in polls after Obama's ego fest this evening?

I could be wrong, but I don't think it's going to happen. The people I know personally who were going to vote for Obama have changed their mind. American people aren't stupid. Most of us recognize hype when we see it. The Clintons are voting for Obama, but that is out of party loyalty. It would be better to act in the best interest of the country instead of party loyalty. I could be wrong, but I'm not expecting a huge bump in the polls. Maybe a small one.

  1. Nah.

Watching the boys and girls from the 'hood' getting down and jiggly will make most sane Americans sick and revolted.

  2. I don't think it will happen.

  3. There will be no bump.

In fact, according to one poll, the DNC Obama-orgy has resulted this week in a bump for McCain, although admittedly statistically insignificant.

The Obama's have 70 days to really s***w themselves.  Can you imagine if the DNC lets Michelle talk off-script?  Can you imagine the snafus Obama will make when faced with real questions during the debates?

  4. if it does happen it will deflate rather quickly.

  5. I'm with the first poster. This story is as old as Johhny McCain.

  6. He will rally himself to a slight bump in the polls, but alas for him, the Republican convention is just around the corner.

  7. Nope.

“And I frankly don’t think that Senator McCain, despite his service and his length of experience, that that’s going to be able to stand up to the message that Barack Obama has brought forward,”

    Willard Romney

  8. Obama will have a "dead cat" ounce then his polls will go down even more until Nov when McCain wins by 20%

  9. I think tonight will be Obama last big bang.  The air from the Obama balloon is slowly starting to leak out, and by November 4th there will be nothing left.

There's an old saying that "BS will last you about 15 minutes and after that you'd better know something."  And I think that Obama's 15 minutes are just about up.

  10. Not 15%, perhaps 5%. McCain will receive a similar small bump after the RNC. From the poll numbers, do you get the feeling that neither Candidate is all that great?

  11. Yes, I think he'll get a temporary bump in the polls, but it will be short lived.  There are many things out of his past that are getting ready to come to a head which will drop those poll numbers, considerably.

  12. I dont think Obama will gain anything in the polls

  13. I highly doubt that anyone even considering voting for Obama would hang out with you. Sorry, don't buy your story.
