why shouldnt the best horse win like the Gold cup/Derby,guinees etc etc

if the national wasn't a handicap it wouldn't attract many runners the reason it attracts so many runners is because it is a handicap and it gives the the smaller stables an equal chance of winning. well that's the theory anyway

I do not agree that the first answer is pathetic but your grammar is. Try system, National and Guineas.

Do you not agree with handicaps then?  Some races are chosen to be handicaps and some not. It just happens that this particular race at Aintree was chosen to be a handicap  as far back as 1844 so the answer to your question is that nobody wants it changing except some people who know f.all about racing.

Yes i think the system is fine as it is supposed to put them all in with a equal chance it being an Handicap. High weights don't stop good horses winning , but they need a lot of luck.Thanks for your opinion, i have been backing horses for over 40 years ,so i should know a little about horseracing.I take it you dont!
