Do you agree with this quote on life?

Question

"Life......is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint c**p that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. Sure, once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or an English toffee. But they're gone too fast and the taste is... fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits filled with hardened jelly and teeth-shattering nuts. i love the show, and i love the quote, and i have to say that i agree with it. what do you all think?

the quote does kind of apply to life

so i agree

like the box of chocolates we are supposed to enjoy life

despite some of the nasty candy (or events, tragedies,etc.)

there are still great candy in that box nonetheless ( good times in life, timeless memories)

No one statement can describe everyone's life. Life is too variant and there are too many people who live too differently to make a generalized statement true, unless it's got no detail to it whatsoever.

For example; Life gets lived.

Life is like a nicker ball.  Hard, sweet and changes color regularly, but not too the one you want.

I think it's wonderfully decadent and dramatic, but it in no way applies to my life. So I disagree with the quote.
