well.yes....most absolutely......it helps us see the lives and differences of others...but then again,its not the destination that broadens one mind.but its the journey......the journey that one shall go through is what actually opens our mind.....we go through a lot o things....thus making us to see life in a whole new perspective.......i leave the rest to you.......
