  1. I definitely don't agree with Jimmie being so low. I mean, they have him below Kenseth!! (Sorry Bowlegged Snake!) I also don't know why they have Jeff Gordon up so high?

The most surprising, but I do think he deserves to be there is David Ragan.

  2. Looks good - I like it!

  3. I agree with you about JJ, he didn't deserve to drop that fast. I have to agree with the list otherwise.

  4. looks good to me.

  5. I feel the same way about the whole jimmie johnson thing but they were otherwise reasonable.

  6. I actually don't take them very seriously anyways, its just for fun.  I know it sucks when your driver drops in the rankings and they don't say good things about them, but you know Jimmie is a great driver and he probably would have won if his engine didn't blow up!

  7. I agree with you.  They have a tendency to drop guys way too far because of things out of their control and fluke accidents.   I've noticed that before with Carl and Denny's rankings after they ran great but didn't get a decent finish.

    3 STR8 N 08!!!

  8. Rowdy deserves the top spot, Jr deserves the #2 spot.  Looks good to me.

  9. welcome back rob!  i think it is cool the way it is

  10. I do. Wierd how after Richmond Kyle Busch and Dale Jr. always seem to be up front battling each other so I think it's pretty close.

  11. Yes, Kyle Busch and Dale Jr. are the most consistent and at the front every single week as a threat for the win. It is important for power rankings to get it right at the top. David R. I like that he is the top 10 i see him up at the front every week. Truex has been sucking good to see him out of the top 12. Jeff Gordon should be lower if it wasn't for his fortunate finish on sunday.

  12. agree mostly, Kenseth is on the move now...

  13. HECK NO! Matty should be #1

  14. they look pretty good to me, especially the number one spot, and the description beside it.  and the descriptions for gordon (#5), hamlin (#6), and kahne (#11) ("Actual conversation heard Sunday night: "Glad to see Junior finally win one, but why did he change his number to 9?"") are spot on man... f'in hilarious.

as for jimmy, i don't know if they dropped him like a hot radiator cap just because of the engine failure, or the fact that they thought he would comeback at "his house" and he didn't pull through.  the power rankings from nascar.com are always pretty volatile.

  15. Looks alright to me.  What do you think Rob?

  16. Looks good to me...

Jr and Scrub just can't shake each other.  At the end of races they are together (unless one wrecks the other), in the power rankings, in the media, even today's Pocono practice speeds, Jr #2 Scrub #3.

  17. I like it! My man Bobby Labonte cracked the list!

  18. It all boils down to a writers opinion and we all know how those go.........I believe a lot in momentum and it looks like the #9 has come in to a good bit of it. #18 & #88 have been hot all year and even when bad luck bites them they end up finishing well. I have no clue what Matt Kenseth's problem is but he sure needs to find a four leaf clover or something. It looks like Jimmie Johnson is getting some of the bad luck that he has dodged for the past 2 years but he is good enoug to be in the chase when things are all said and done...........

I think Bowyer needs to be much lower.....but that is just my opinion
