  1. NO !

T20 does it's job which is to make money and gain more fans !!!. Test cricket is the purest and still the most important form of the game. Test cricket will NEVER be replaced by T20 nor will T20 ever be more important than test cricket.

  2. I think T20 will remain - there is a definite future since the entertainment factor is so immense and generates A LOT of cash from the business perspective. Also, it appeals to more people since it will be over in a just over 3 hours. However, I think Test Cricket and the regular ODI's will definitely remain as they are more a test of skill and endurance, especially Test Cricket. Don't get me wrong, T20 has superior talent in it, but just the fact of battling it out for 7-8 hours for 5 days in a row is different to going out there for a fast paced 3 hour game, both physically and mentally. However, entertainment wise T20 does kinda rock! Ans that McCullum's inning in the first match was legendary - I want one of the Indians to do that now as well :-)

  3. Yes,exactly,T20  is the only  way cricket can become global.

It  is less time consuming, gives a result, unlike soccer

In the furure,it might  reduce  to  15  overs a side

  4. no not at all....t20 is goin hit only fortime bing...but honest and true crickt lovers will laways go for the ODI format and yes not to forget the test series.

  5. Absolutely. T20 will help spread cricket all over the world.

  6. It is a future matching the 21st Century. Could have been a 21x21 instead.

  7. not future!!! it has jst started

  8. Yes I am totally agree with u that Twenty20 is a future of Cricket.

  9. I think that financialy that the IPL will be an amazing oppurtunity, and it will definately add the popularity of cricket throughout the world with so many world class players playing such a fast paced form of cricket. However it is important that we recognise that test cricket is the most important form of cricket and the skills involved in test cricket are far more impresive than that of 20/20.

  10. No I don't! remember this was an English devised sport, & you think you have the right to highjack it so you can turn it into a 3 hour circus. Well think again!

  11. yes because now among the younger generation they are tending to enjoy 20/20 cricket better than the50 over format of the game and once the older generation dies off the younger generation will take over

  12. there is a big possibility

  13. i dont agree
