  1. Yes I do, but honestly they prefer playing to watching TV. They are outside most of the time, even if it's raining (as long as it's not lightening). My daughter likes to make art projects and my son plays with his dinosaurs and transformers. I don't see the harm as long as they don't vege out in front of it for days....

  2. Well why not, I mean if trust your kids enough and they are old enough to have one in their room then yeah I would just go for it. 12-15 is a good a age to let your child have one in their room and plus you can put child blocks if you need to.

  3. yes, but it doesn't have "tv", it's for dvds only. - we watch movies together every now and then and he gets to watch after he's cleaned his room, done his other "chores", behaved himself etc etc.  he's 3. - he's more interested in his books than the actual tv itself, so i'm not worried that i'm a "bad" parent as most would say.......

  4. Two of my three daughters have a TV in their rooms.  They are outside and run and play and everything else.  They receive good grades and usually fall asleep with it on.  It doesn't hurt them one bit.  And my three year old now sings along with songs and does what Dora asks her to in English and Spanish.

  5. NOOOOOOOOOO!

To much on I would not want my boys to watch>  They are 11 and 13 years old.

  6. My brother is 9 & has a tv in his room. I don't see what's the big deal. He only watches cartoons anyway. He does not stay inside all day. He goes outside and play with friends. When I have a child if they want a tv I don't have a problem with it. As long as they keep their room clean & do good in school I'm fine with it.

  7. My 4 yr old has had a TV and DVD player in his room since he was 2 1/2.  He has quit the collect of DVD's, he is entertained which gives me and Daddy lots of quiet time.  Everybody is happy!

  8. I don't see much of a problem.

With all the new options for cable / dish / ect.

You can just block shows / channels by there rating. TV is way better to have in your child's room than a PC.
