Do you always au when entering the roda?

Sorry if this question seems dumb, but I am new to capoeira and just noticed not everyone does cartwheel when starting the roda? can someone explain it? thanks! :-)

well iff not everyone does then you dont have to...

i never did but some people like to it makes it a bit more interesting to watch.

You yell to put more power in your hit... You really don't have to do it but it help with the focus also...

Wow how it Capoeira I always wanted to learn we don't have a school here I do Taekwondo I yell LOL but not always LOL!!!

But some times it seem to give me more power when I fight in class I think it puts more focus on the hit...
