  1. Being an Atenean myself, I was stuck between the conception that either the teacher is WAY better or I am better.

  2. not always, manly because he teaches teen health class but he drinks one of those party sized sprite bottles every day, no joke

  3. now that i'm older and more knowledgeable, i try to discriminate which ones to retain and which ones are not useful.

    yes, i do believe in them. for a child, there would always come a time, wherein we would believe more in our teachers rather than our parents, i think that's during our kinder and grader years.

  4. i have discipline and i don't always believe them. [;

    nice avatar btw

  5. we learn from teachers. thats why we go to sckool.

  6. i question everything

  7. HUH?  xox

  8. teacher's job is to teach us... but we also have a job for them, that is, to learn...

  9. it depends on the subject/topic that is being taught..

    ^_^

  10. No. Once we had an argument  about the spelling of a word in a report I had done. He said it was wrong. I said it was right. I knew it was right because I looked it up in a dictionary first. I took the dictionary to class the next day. And you know what? He still marked me down on the paper !

  11. The question is, do I Remember what the teacher taught me.  :)

    I believed it at the time.  It has been many many years.

  12. I don't understand all of the things at the bottom, looks to me like a type of math that hopefully i wont have to meet in my travels but no, but i think its a Good teachers job to place the seed of doubt into all things around you. To make you question why is my mother my mother, because she goes out of her way to make sure that you don't suffer one ounce of pain, Why is my father my father, because he has always had me food on the table, clothes on my back, and a listening ear. A good teacher should try to make you think for yourself and support the reasoning of why you believe and what you should stand for at that time where everyone is still being feed information through a lens.

  13. As far as getting through school, just go with the flow and give them the answer there are looking for. It may not always be right but you can formulate your own ideas later. I know it can be hard sometimes, especially when you know their teaching may be wrong or outdated. Remember you have the rest of your life ahead of you and school will be only a short time.
