Do you always seem to be alone by yourself most of the time?

Peace be upon you..

Do you think it bad/good for a person to be alone always by him/herself?

(Pls, no negative thoughts here) I meant this in a "good" n "positive" way..

I find myself to be in this situation most of the time. And it can really get to me, and frustrates me alot. I have no job, not much friends(closes one i have, is a Buddhist), mostly at home, just graduated(not sure what to pursue in Life).

Most of the tym i am with my family...nearly always and I love being with them but when i have work i have to come seclude myself in my bedroom (Lonely) and den i tink Y/A and spend my tym here when i shud really be getting on with some work. Well your not alone you've got many contributors here to keep you company =)

I hate being alone..it frustrates me 2 but i try to remind myself that God is watching over me.

For once i thought you was talking about me, lol, but there is nothing bad about being alone, but one should go out and see how things work in the world. now that u graduated make sure u have something to accomplish in life, once u go off to university u'll make bunch of friends, also look for a job, Oh and a good way to make good muslim friends is through u're local masjid since its almost ramadan, Inshallah u'll be fine again there is nothing wrong with being alone it can make u think outside the box. =)

Do you live in your parents basement also?

If I was in your position, I would apply for as many jobs and get married. Enjoy life and be thankful for everything you have.

I'm alone most of the time too, my brothers are always out with their friends and I'm barely allowed to go out with my friends.  :(

i think its bad for a little kid to be alone, you know to grow up alone. cause it wont be good when he/shes older.

I spend lots of time alone, and have at different times in my life, based on circumstances - at other times I'm a social butterfly.  I'm alone lots now because I live away from my family and haven't really had a chance to make new friends yet where I live now, for various reasons too long to list here.

I kind of appreciate it, because it has taught me how to be independent and to entertain myself. I know very few people who would go see a movie by themselves, but I have done it many times over the years. I go out driving around exploring and learning my surroundings, and so I'm now an expert map reader and navigator. Whenever I get to a new place, I learn and explore as much as possible, and soon know my way around better than some natives!

I also spend time at the library and bookstores, reading, going online, playing games, decorating my house and other stuff. Now I have a baby, so I'm not truly alone that often, but do lack for adult companionship at times.

When I do start to get lonely and upset, I make a trip to my parent's, or one of my sibling's if possible (we each live in a different state).

Yes. And it sounds like everyone in your family is also lonely.

Maybe you can suggest to them that you connect a bit more.

Or, get some roommates and move out, enjoy your life with friends.
