The average grocery trolley contains 85% foreign owned and made resulting in around 100 million dollars a day heading offshore to foreign owned corporations.In Japan 98% of products are owned by Japanese companies.I think it would be much better to support 100% Australian owned companies as profits stay in Australia for Australians and it also keeps Australians employed here.We need to copy the Japanese level or aim for 100% Australian content in Australian supermarkets.This will only happen if consumers support 100% Australian owned companies on a mass scale with every product bought in the supermarket because the supermarkets will not give preference to Aussie companies over foreign.
