A person can be asking something and not going through that situation so why do people assume that person was asking for themselves when they did not say that they were?

  1. its hard to tell there getting answer from something they havent been through yet

  2. Settings r definitely different when person asks something for himself. It's not the stereotype life. Too much of assumptions r bad. This is the example like asking the way to Heaven when it has never been even in Ur dream.

  3. Not always - i find that what you speak of is often the case with the more ridiculous examples.

  4. no because I don't always ask a question about me. I usually ask questions for all people problems.

  5. You can usually tell by the way the question is asked, if its for them,,, when someone ask a question and the very first thing they say is I have a friend that needs to know- ,, the truth is

they are that friend, just the way and details will give it away.

However I don't mind answering the question if I have a good one to give them, but I normally don't have a very intelligent

    answer for them anyway.
