  1. As far as little green and grey men flying around in the sky. No. I believe that there exists simple organisms in space. So yes, I do believe there is life in space. Probably tons of simple life and maybe one to two intelligent species. We can actually mathematicaly figure this out using the drake equation. Look it up, especially at astronomycast.com

  2. YES

this universe is too big for only us to be in it.

  3. No - just like all astronomers in the world.

  4. yes i do.

it would be naive to assume we're a fluke! plus water = life. they believe there's water under the ice on one of saturn's moons. even if it's only a single celled organism, it's alien because it's not from earth

  5. If there were no life except us in the universe it would be like 1 single bacteria living on earth today. It is nearly impossible for us to be the only kind of life in the universe.  So, Yes i do believe in aliens.

  6. there proberly arent any aliens nearby, by but the universe is so big and still expanding there is a near cetainly possilbility there are life out there, so i do believe.

  7. Yes, we can't be alone.

  8. guess so, unless someone can prove there isnt any.

  9. I think it's naive to think that we are the only living organism in the entire universe. Completely and utterly naive. What are the building blocks of life as we know it on Earth:

    1) Liquid water (H2O)

    2) The chemical building blocks carbon, oxygen, hydrogen and nitrogen.

    3) An energy source.

The universe is packed full of this stuff. Carbon is most important because of its ability to form long chain-like molecules. Carbon chains form the backbone of organic molecules. Hydrogen and oxygen can both bond with carbon in lots of different ways. These two elements make up water molecules. So, since water is present on Mars and possibly many other places in the universe, hydrogen and oxygen will already be there. Like hydrogen and oxygen, nitrogen can also combine with carbon in lots of different ways. Large molecules made from carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen also tend to be very stable. Other ingredients for life are sulfur, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, manganese, iron, cobalt, copper and zinc are all needed for life as we know it on Earth . . . and the universe is full of this stuff. No way we are alone out there.

    As a scientist can I prove it . . . No.

Is other life probable . . . In theory, Yes.

  10. YES I BELIEVE IN ALIENS

  11. well sorta

bcuz y wuld God only make life on 1 planet??

  12. Yes.

They live in their respective part of the Universe.

  13. I believe any thing is possible, I also believe we won't have answers for years to come.

which means that today it does not matter.

  14. If you mean intelligent beings from another planet, then the answer is simple:  No.  There is no physical evidence for the existence of life on any other planet than the earth.

This does not imply that I hold this position firmly.  If physical evidence of life on another planet is found, I will modify my views according to the strength of the evidence.

  15. Yes,I think that there are aliens.

  16. Why don't you go and check the previous million  answers on the very same question.

There is a little green box called resolved questions, at the top, that's what it is for, to stop people like you from asking the same thing ad nauseum.

No, not the sort of alien you are thinking of.

  17. Yes, definitely. There is no way Earth is the only place in the infinite universe that contains life.

  18. ya.it can be ......i mean that there cant be one earth thereare thousands of solar systems in the milky way..and more than that millions of galaxies in universe.......at least there are 1/100000 chances........

  19. No, not til i see 'em.

  20. It's really selfishness to think that we are the only beings in this huge universe but i just don't like the idea if the aliens are like the ones in " Independence day" .

  21. "Either we are alone in the universe, or we are not. Both ideas are freightening." -I forgot who

Personally, I believe the universe is statistically too big not to have life somewhere else.

  22. I don't know but imagine ! Earth has the perfect place in the solar system... PERFECT !!! The perfect distance between our planet and the sun !!! Is it possible for an other planet anywhere to have that same perfection ? I don't know the answer.

  23. no you freaks

  24. This is a fantastic read, and pretty much sums up the answer for you using the "Drake's Equation"

  25. mhm !

i think there has to be others out there.

  26. it depends
