I honestly don't even know what to believe anymore, but if i had to choose an answer it would be yes for certain; Bush and his minions had something to do with this tragedy.

  1. Of course it was planned, but not by Bush!

  2. In 2005, I finally obtained all of the evidence that I was trying to find.

I believe that it was planned by Salifist Muslim zealots who wanted to disrupt our way of life (and they succeeded in this).

The best evidence shows all of the people involved boarding the planes on camera.

Most of the "conspiracy theory" web sites like to conveniently eliminate or invent facts (leading to a conclusion that's anything but factual).

Let me take just one theory: For the idea of explosives on Building 7, I personally know one of the firefighters who was there. No explosive charges were placed. It would take 18 hours to place the charges correctly, and my friend has done demolitions enough that he would recognize an explosive charge if he saw it. The building collapsed less than an hour after he left. Also, my friend doesn't lie to me, and will simply refrain from comment rather than tell me something that's untrue (which has happened, as he has things he couldn't talk about that he did with the military). He says no explosive charges were placed, and with 20 years of friendship between us, I feel obligated to believe him. Draw your own conclusions from this, but I'd tend to take the word of someone who was there over someone who simply decided to take some words which were spoken out of context. There was discussion of taking the building down, and they did decide they would do it because it was unsafe (cracks in the foundation were large enough to place a finger into), but the building collapsed on its own before anyone could even get authorization.

That's the aftermath, rather than the planning.

In planning, Bush was a target for assassination in Florida, but this is glossed over for the simple fact that nobody really cared.

Cheney and Rice were both moved to a bunker, and authorized shooting down Flight 93 (I wonder if anyone survived if they would have been required to apologize for being the target of a missile). However, no military planes were in range for an air-to-air missile, and no surface-to-air missiles were fired. In planning, Cheney and Rice weren't really targets as much as the White House might have been.

The "missile" theory (that it was not a plane, but a missile that hit the Pentagon, with no real explanation of where the remaining plane disappeared to) is countered by numerous (about 160) eyewitness accounts, including one who watched the whole thing from a sixth-story hotel just a few hundred yards from the Pentagon in Crystal City. The theory's main support seems to be the few eyewitness testimony accounts that are taken out of context. Additionally, solid analysis has been done to prove it was a plane and not a missile, including photos of airplane parts being removed at the scene on such sites as CNN and Time (a claim that no photos that show parts from an airplane is common).

I am also personally connected to 9/11 by the fact that a friend died in the WTC (note my careful avoidance of that topic, as I don't want to talk about that). Though I was sitting in a friend's apartment in Salt Lake City at the time, I still suffer from PTSD as the result of the event, because I was on the phone with my friend when the building collapsed 3,000 miles away. I can still hear the sound in my mind. I still have nightmares. I'm still depressed over it, 7 years later (and it's worse right now than the day after it happened). I still think about his mother's flat denial that her son was dead, and a flat refusal to hold a memorial. When they finally did hold one, I was told specifically that I couldn't go. I may never get closure. But even so, my desire to find out the truth of the events overshadows any kind of statement based in anything but the facts.

The point of terrorism is to incite fear. Personally, I'm tired of being terrorized by the government, and conspiracy theories like this just don't help. Can't we just let this topic rest until there are actual facts to back up claims? It's one thing to say that there's evidence to suggest (or lacking evidence), but it's quite another to make up facts in order to incite doubt and fear. While it's clear that there are aspects of 9/11 that are unknown, I doubt highly that it's enough to change much.

So, to directly answer your question: no, Bush didn't have anything to do with the planning of 9/11. I have no love for Bush, and I certainly believe he's a powermongering idiot with a God complex (opinions of this magnitude are typically difficult for me to express, because I hate being mean), but the truth of the matter is that if Bush had anything to do with the actual planning, it wouldn't make sense to have him as a target unless there was a daring rescue/escape in the meantime, in order to bolster public opinion.

EDIT: And, just so I can say it in public: Michael Moore is a lying, conniving, twisted jerk whose only real talent is in eliminating facts to tell a story. I've debunked virtually everything he's produced to date, and I'd love nothing more than to face him in public and debate the facts. I consider Michael Moore just as bad as the terrorists, with the possible exception of never directly murdering anyone. His incitement of fear and discontent by twisting and inventing facts seems to be right in line with what those terrorist !@#$ want, and I have about as high a regard for him as I do most child molesters. Strong words, and as I said: I'd love for nothing more than to face him in public and discredit every bit of misinformation he's ever used for justifying his blatant propaganda.

  3. Yes I feel it was planned.  To try and make a point since 911 means it's an emergency, and what else would you call the tragedy that happened on that date?

  4. I think its been well established that it was planned, seeing as travel by air is the safest method, and on one day 4 of them crash? no, id say t was a plan, and not, as some may believe, an accident.

  5. if they lied about Iraq and kill thousands of own troops for oil would think twice about anything else they did.

  6. yeah i do indeed think this was planned.

  7. Trust your informed opinion.

We don't know all the details of what happened.

But we do know that what we were told happened, didn't happen.

I am sure, even if you are confused, that you see the big lies.

  8. it was a set up, so america got their foot in the far east oil, door.

  9. It was planned, yes. But if you're implying Bush and his Administration had anything to do with the planning, I just simply refuse to believe that (and I am a staunch Bush hater at this point).

Something so devious and evil I don't believe any political or governmental figure of stature would ever risk their freedom and lives (death penalty) from the chance of being convicted of a crime of this proportion on their own people. It's ludicrous to believe that... probably one of the most baseless-yet-believed conspiracy theories to date in history, in my opinion.

Bush's beef was with Saddam anyway – if you think they needed an excuse to invade Iraq, they found that with their false WMD claims. No need to stage a huge terrorist attack on America and mess with our own economy fallout from it to make a case for international bullying.

  10. I think so. How does one just "accidentally" take control of a plane and conveniently land it in the twin towers? Things like that aren't just coincidental

  11. Of course it was planned - it was a precision operation.  It wouldn't have happened without prior planning.

I think you mean do we believe it was an "inside job"?  The work of our own government and not Muslim terrorists?

Bush certainly isn't my favorite person, but I don't believe he'd do that to his own country.

  12. Yes, 911 was planned. They did an outstanding job of fooling us, hiding and getting into good position to scare and destroy us.

I won't go so far as to imply that OUR government leaders planned it, knew about it or participated, but they handled it poorly.

They get thousands of messages everyday concerning possible threats, and it is a gargantuan task to sift through it all for REAL threats. We need an army-just doing THAT!

I don't think W and his idiot pals are bight enough to pull it off. "W" couldn't organize a  panty-raid, much less this.

I think he didn't BELIEVE it could happen. (JoHN WAYNE syndrome)

When it did HAPPEN, he alternated from pissing his pants to pissing on paper. Cheney nodded and ran his businesses.

I won't believe UNTIL solid proof is demonstrated that any sitting American President could be so callous and ignorant to kill thousands of his own people for any reason.)  It is bad enough that he is guilty of sending our children to WAR-based on a huge LIE!! but it is a different case.

Even so, I will  hope and pray that President Obama makes an example of him and sends him and his cohorts to prison for war crimes.

The world has to KNOW that WE KNOW he is a criminal and we won't tolerate it.

Perhaps we can buy back some of our prestige and leadership with his skinny carcass in the slammer.

  13. yeah, my brother is an ironworker and told me that the diagonal way in which the girders showed up in the rubble could only have been made my detonite or cut prior to the collapse. also the high quality steel used in the construction of wtc should have easily able to sustain the integrity of the building longer than a couple hours. also the way the buildings fell i kind of curious. What about Building 7? And a lot other coincidences  to for it to be a possability.

  14. yea i mean its not really an accident

  15. YES YES YES YES  you should watch micheal moore movies they are great and also you should  watch "the 11th hour"

  16. yeah it was planned by muslim fanatics

  17. So the general consensus, which matches my own, is that this was indeed an inside job.  Good job, guys!  It's about time we opened our eyes to see what is really going on!

So the next question that comes to mind is, "When are we going to stand up and do something about it?"
