Do you believe Casey Anthony's story?

Question

The Florida mom who's 2 year old was missing for a month before reporting it. Do you believe her story that the babysitter never returned the child?

Do you think her mom has more to do with this than she is letting on-and is trying to protect her daughter at her granddaughters expense?

From listening to the phone calls she made from jail to her mom it sounds like as if she is more interested in whats going on with her boyfriend than she is with her daughters "disappearance" .

I don't believe Casey's story either. This whole thing is very weird to me. My gut tells me that Casey killed the little girl. I hope I am wrong, but that is what I think. Casey has done nothing but lie. You don't lie unless you have something to hide. I have listened to some of the jailhouse calls, most recently I listened to one she made to her brother Lee. Lee asks Casey what the name is of the woman she "worked" with at Universal Studios and she stammers around before saying, her name is Juliette Lewis. Isn't Juliette Lewis a famous actress? Yes, somebody could have the same name, but I think she pulled the name out of the air because it sounded familiar to her. Then the brother asks Casey what is "Ms. Lewis's" contact information, then Casey says "oh, she just moved a few weeks ago". Come on?!! Is this family really falling for this c**p?!! My 8 year old could come up with something better than that! She is lying and she is doing a very poor job at it, it will only be a matter of time before police know the truth. I also think that the grandmother knows more than she is letting on, not that she was involved in the murder, if that's what happened, but maybe that she is covering for her daughter because maybe her daughter confessed to her. I think that newly poured concrete slab in the family's backyard needs to be torn up a.s.a.p!! It just seems as if life as gone on as normal for these people. The mother seems like she could care less that her two year old is missing, even taking the time to get a tattoo a few weeks ago and painting her toenails a pretty purple for her bond hearing!! The grandparents decide to pour a new patio just out of the blue and plus, the grandmother called 911 and is screaming about the car and the money that was taken from her and then suggests that they should file a missing child report almost as if it's an afterthought. I never has seen a weirder bunch of people in my life than this family!! If any of my children are out of my sight for more than 5 minutes, I am in an utter panic!! This story is so very strange indeed! I hope that the truth comes out and any guilty parties get the book thrown at them! The victim in all this is an innocent 2 year old child, who never hurt anyone. God bless her little heart.

I don't believe her story at all. I think she wanted freedom and she some how got rid of the little girl. I don't believe there was a babysitter.

At this point I cannot even give an opinion on whether I think the little girl is dead or not. Maybe she sold her or maybe her and the boyfriend murdered her. I DO NOT think she should be released from prison. If she wants to help find her daughter so bad then it shouldn't matter if she is in prison or out. It also shouldn't matter if it is local police or the FBI talking to her.

I want to know who she supposedly was working with when Caylee first went missing. Also, why is the Mom always making excuses for Casey??? WTF! This is a 3 year old little girl!!!

I dont believe her for one minute.

around 12 years ago in my City we had a very similar thing happen. A 4 year old ends up missing in the middle of the night. Mom snowjobbed everyone. Had all the police, the local media, even CNN covering it. Well, when the police found the childs body it didnt take long to figure out what happened. The found her in a abandoned factory right around the corner from her house. The mom had smashed the kids skull in with a cast from a broken arm she(mom) had (the cast mysteriously vanished from her arm during the search for the child) Her reason for doing this was that the child walked in on her and her drugged up boyfriend having s*x. The worst part of it? Her own mom was in on helping to cover it up, her boyfriend was in on helping to cover it up, her brother was in on it, and even her neighbors were in on it.

There is no honor or love for children among this type of people. They are only out for themselves.

I have never met a parent, no matter how bad of one they are, that if they can't find their child they would freak out. In this freak out they are bound to call the police to get help to find their child.
