The magic bullet theory….

According to the single bullet theory, a one-inch long, copper jacketed, lead core 6.5 millimeter rifle bullet fired from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository passed through President Kennedy’s neck, Governor Connally’s chest and wrist and embedded itself in the Governor’s thigh. In doing so, the bullet traversed 15 layers of clothing, 7 layers of skin, and approximately 15 inches of tissue, struck a tie knot, removed 4 inches of rib and shattered a radius bone. The bullet that is supposed to have done all this damage was found on the stretcher used by Governor Connally in the corridor at the Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas after the assassination.[2] It became a key Commission exhibit, identified as CE399. Its copper jacket was completely intact.

Without the Magic bullet theory, there had to be more the three shots fired.

I know many people will say forget it, it happened soo… long ago. I was ten when this happened, but hearing about this magic bullet theory didn’t make sense to me than and still doesn’t today.

I had an uncle who was a police man, very conservative and not a fan of Kennedy to begin with back then. I still have an image of him shaking his head when I showed him the Warren commissions report. He started shaking his head ,saying “ something is not right here”…..

Thanks in advance for any comments.

  1. we spent time on this very issue this past year in my american studies class.  we watched videos and read many pieces of information.  nothing made sense!  no piece of information matched up.  this was by far the best topic that i have learned about at my school, westview.  i was fascinated by a topic that was so confusing and with no real answer.  i had never know anything about the assassination so when my teacher brought up this issue and let us explore it for a few weeks, i was stunned.

  2. Forget conspiracy theories they are all internet fuelled b******s truth is often much stranger than fiction. Just look at the ballistics reports and keep an open ie impartial mind. JFK was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald end off.

  3. I'm not really a big believer of conspiracy theories. However, to me, the closer one looks at, and reads about the assassination of JFK, the more mysterious it becomes.

To me, what is most suspicious is the follow up - Oswald being shot by Ruby, a man with known mafia connections - the more I read, the more I find myself thinking that Oswald was put up to it by someone, and then killed to prevent him spilling the beans.

  4. There is SO much evidence to show that JFK was killed by more then one gunman it is impossible to for a sane person to believe otherwise.  The magic bullet is NOT part of the evidence as there are so many inaccurate claims about it it has become impossible to determine the truth of the bullets "history"'  Which is just what the true killers want.  But with all the other evidence out there including the guy who was shot in his ear by someone and that bullet landing on a curb which was immediately repaired and also the autopsy pics which clearly show an ENTRY wound on JFK'S neck IN THE FRONT, and there is so much more.

  5. As Need2No says, no sane person believes that Lee Harvey Oswald, with his one magic bullet, killed JFK.  Oswald may not in fact have had anything to do with it.  With the number of co-conspirators (Texas Oil, the Mob, J.Edgar Hoover) likely involved in JFK's assassination, I'd say at least two gunmen were in on it.  Now ask about RFK's assassination....

  6. 6.5mm Carcano is a very powerful round. And the FMJ bullet used had excellent penetration. One round would punch through the best body armor we have. The penetration is plausible. The angles are the only question. And its impossible to determine what they were at the moment Oswald fired.

  7. It is IMPOSSIBLE for a man to be shot from behind and his brains blow out the BACK of his head landing on the trunk of the car behind him, period.
