I heard about lunar fertile time today. This idea or whatever says that you can ovulate during the same moon phase as the one you were born in. Do you believe it???

  2. No.  Ovulation isn't on a schedule, despite popular belief.

You have two phases in your cycle, the Follicular phase and the Luteal phase.

The Follicular phase is the first phase and can vary from month to month in length.  For instance, I have ovulated as early as day 13 and as late as day 26.  This phase consists of the the days from the first day of your period to the day of ovulation.

The Luteal phase is the days from the day after ovulation to the day before your next period.  This phase is almost always the same length of days with the exception of a day or two either way.  For instance, whether my ovulation day be on day 13 or 26, there are always 11 days after ovulation until I start my period.  Always.  This comes from a year and a half of charting my ovulation patterns and research on TTC.

So, no, I don't believe that the pull of the moon has anything, whatsoever, to do with ovulation.
