  1. h**l YES!!

  2. No.  Phelps is fishy: he cheated.  First off, his former US swim team member, Gary Hall Jr., stated publicly in AP News media that past and current US swimmers regularly doped WITHOUT getting caught.

You can cover it up with scheduled doping time-frames supposedly, according to Gary Hall Jr.  Secondly, it is extremely suspicious that that longggg list of Balco athletes that Marion Jones "outted" has suddenly disappeared.

    Cheaters eventually get caught.

  3. Yes I think he deserves it, he did win all the races.

This photo sequence shows the finish a little more clearly.

The Serbians admitted that Phelps won the race- he did touch first. Cavic isn't quite as close as he looks in that picture Sal linked to, he is still a few inches away.

  4. He deserves every honor he has EARNED! He works hard! Rock on!!

  5. yes

    he is very talented

  6. he works his butt off he does deserves that record and you shouldn't be jealous because he won it.

  7. of course he deserved it!  he has been training since he was 11 years old, so i would say ha freaking deserves it!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. yes i do.

    he's a very talented swimmer

and he won every one of those races

  9. In swimming there is a touch pad. The touch pad keeps track of when a swimmer touches the wall. Phelps won fair and square. If you watch the underwater camera in slow motion you can see he DOES touch before Cavic!!!!! Does he deserve it? Of course he does. Anyone who has ever swam knows how hard you have to train and how much harder you have to train to be an Olympian.  Way to go Phelps!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. NO, because he lost his 7th final to Cavic.

Finally, there's UNDENIABLE PROOF that Phelps LOST. This photo was in the New York Times.

Cavic beat him period. In the bottom frame, Cavic is either touching the wall, or is 1 milimeter away from touching it. Phelps is a good 1/2 foot from the wall.

Look at how much difference there is between Phelps middle fingers and the edge of the water? Now look at how there's not even 1mm of space between Cavic's middle figners and the edge of the water.
