  1. Yes he does, and so do every other world leader

Russians are going overboard with this war. Something tells me that they are rebuilding their military and showing their might, sort of like saying US aren't the only powerful military force around.

And they are doing it at the cost of thousand of innocent lifes

  2. The "right" to "demand"?

I guess it depends on what, exactly, supplies that "right".

He doesn't have any position giving him international authority, so he would have no "right" based on his office.

He can certainly request, encourage, or urge a cease fire... but that's not a "demand".

  3. 4000 dead in georgia, bush must take action now

  4. Yes, I do.

  5. NO BECAUSE HE HAS BIGGER PROBLEMS OF HIS OWN EVEN THOUGH HE IS A GOOD PRESIDENT.

  6. He can say whatever he wants, Russia has the right to tell him to **** off.

  7. It gives liberals great joy to see Bush fail in his attempts to bring peace; hypocritical and sad.

    McCain 08.

  8. There he goes again.......what a guy!

He has done so much for us.......and has made such wonderful choices

****Please note the SARCASM in my statements

  9. yes, as the leader of the free world he has not only the right but the responsibility to speak his mind when something is wrong.

  10. I believe that President Bush have the right. Every leader of every nation and every responsible leader of every organization have the right to demand ceasefire. He have this right as a leader of a free, democratic, developed and strong nation. Everyone of us have also the right, but who will listen?

  11. Sigh....  He would if he wasn't so d**n trigger happy himself...

  12. he can demand whatever he wants.  I can demand a cease fire in Iraq too, but that doesn't mean anyone is going to listen.

  13. There was a cease fire a few days ago, and Georgia broke it. So why should Russia give Georgia a cease fire when there is no assurance for them that Georgia wont use it to prepare to attack again when they think they're ready?
