We are not told of any important vital world news, because the media is working feverishly to discredit McCain's ticket, my God they do not even mention Babylon hollywood, well, OK they did mention looney Clooney only because he helps their agenda, and they still believe he is a Doctor that played a doctor on TV.

  1. No way

  2. I actually see Bush rattling back.  Silly, since his saber is currently stuck in someone else's corpse and he can't seem to wiggle it free.

No, Russia won't go to war... not yet.  They haven't gotten the support from China they seemed to hope for and other countries have dismissed their efforts as well.  They've realized that it really would be them against everyone else.  So they'll just play the part of bully for now.

I agree that they'll be waiting to see who our next president is.  It's not just if the next one is weak.  I don't think either one of the possibilities is weak.  But the more hawkish one will definitely be the easier one to manipulate.  I think it would be best to consider which would be better at playing a long game of chess while having insults shouted at him.

  3. Russia is a threat yes, but they dont have any support at the moment. But I can see them being an issue in the future. I think any leader should have military experience, in my opinion you can not lead what you know nothing about.

  4. Well Mccain wants to Bomb Iran LOL

  5. ...no wars will break out unless Obama gets elected because the European, Asian and Middle Eastern leaders know that McCain won't take any "c**p" and Obama will have to convene a panel of advisers and organizers to make a decision (maybe) on how to handle a real crisis.

  6.    The deeper truths about this Russian scenario are being downplayed badly, or the Dems cry that the Repubs are trying the doom and gloom approach.

It's totally unsettling to understand that the greatest percentage of people in YA, have NO idea of the serious threat posed and just how intent Putin is about his objectives.  He is NOT making idle threats against us, the EU or Western powers.....................he has no reluctance to use military force where it furthers his ambitions.   And there are "people" who "think" Obama who called the female German Chancellor "sweetie" has the skill to deal with Putin ?   Not by a New York minute today, next month or next 3 years.

  7. No.  Russia will wait to see who the new sheriff in town is.  If it is someone they perceive as weak, they will push him around.  If it is someone they perceive as strong, they will continue to saber rattle but always avoid a direct conflict.  Russia has a lot of troops and plenty of new equipment but the last experience their military had was getting its head handed to them in Afghanistan.  Our troops are combat hardened and experienced.  The Russians do not want to be humiliated.

  8. And did you hear the theory that the Bush administration has been goading Russia on?  They'd like nothing better than to incite a big war so their candidate can get elected.

Talk about cynical.  At the expense of human life.  Oh wait.  If they're not American they don't count.

  9. i will tell you one thing, if ANY more war breaks out, i hope we have someone in office that is prepared to defend our country.most hostile enemies dont care too much about the "let's just all be friends" approach.

  10. Lets see, Georgia attacked S.O. and we just gave heaps of money to the Georgian terrorist government to support their oppressive terrorist movement on a country they were surprised wasn't as defenseless as they'd hoped.  I don't think Russia started the saber rattling.  We also decided to set up missiles that COULD be used against Russia, you know, like the ones we got pissed about in Cuba.  Hypocrits

  11. Did I miss some accurate reporting that definately shows that George Bush & the administration caused the conflict with Russia or are idiots believing the words of a f-ing former KGB agent (talk about stupid)?  I mean, it would really be amazing that Bush has the power to MANIPULATE Russia into doing something it absolutely DIDN'T want to do.  Oh wait, Bush has mind control powers..I forgot that.

As to "War" breaking out with Russia, don't bank on it.

  12. Nope. We really need to back off Russia here. They're right. We think its okay to multilaterally redraw the map in our favor, why is it so bad for them to do it in their favor? Especially when the map wants to be redrawn that way? Those "Georgians" want independence. We're a symbol of freedom and democracy, not oppression. What would we say about a British colony trying to escape British oppression in the North American continent? Why is it so different for Georgia?

  13. I don't understand why China is not seen as a threat???? Russia LOL

  14.     As far as Russia rattling her saber, she's not really that different from the United States. Shes merely ensuring "energy stability", just as the US is occupying Iraq.

The US and Russia are just  making sure that it has control of oil. This includes oil fields, oil production, retail, transportation--the whole life cycle. Both countries see the whole world for their taking. And if this means going to war--then war it will be.
