  1. mosques yes they should

    churches no

  2. They should. Most churches, mosques, synagogues, and places of worship are really "for profit" businesses that use the name of God to extract money from people.

The poor and middle class people give money. Some tide 10% of their income, to pastors that drive $100,000 cars, and churches that are the size of small cities. These businesses of "worship" should pay taxes and contribute to the common pot just like every other business does.

  3. I agree with you, and also Mosques should pay for their water bills on a meter, as they WASTE so much water with their washing rituals 5 times a day. It is estimated that every Muslim uses approximately 8 gallons of water, per person 5 times a day. There are a lot of Muslims, so there is a LOT of water wasted!!!!

  4. should b shut down

  5. I'm going to move into a church then too. I will get a cathedral so everyone can move in. I would like to have tax relief.

  6. Give to Cesar what is Cesar's

  7. To be perfectly honest, if the Queen pays taxes, I think everyone should.

Mind you, are you talking about income tax or council tax?

Because, I agree, people who earn enough to pay tax should, but council tax.  You can't really live in a church, and I don't think the queen should pay council tax on all those bedrooms she has in Buck house. But that's my opinion, and everyone is entitled to their own.

  8. only if they preach hate, Wright?

  9. well this is a funny one coz there not earning a living are they so why should they pay tax i mean its not a busness but if your going by donations i think that any kind of excess should be givin to places of need charity or something like that tax is a killer and only put there to make the rich richer and the poor poorer.

  10. Technically, no. They are "non-profit organizations" so they are not actually a business. Same with public schools, government buildings, etc. so they get through that loophole.

  11. i suppose it depends on the country and its beliefs.

in my opinion, holy places should not pay taxes, as they are the houses of God. :]

but if you're looking at it in an objective, unreligious, businessy way, then yes, it seems like they should pay taxes since they're just buildings.

  12. yes

    yes i do

  13. they should be bombed out of existence, every single one of them.

  14. maybe

but i heard that you could use a tax loophole to get out of some taxes by setting aside a room in your house as a muslim place of worship.......no one else need use it but you get to save money.....

i wonder if this works for other faiths (though i guess i already know the answer to that .....lol)
