  1. this is amazing cause i answered a similar question yesterday that i found.

straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.

JOH 1:24 And they which were sent were of the Pharisees.

JOH 1:25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?

    JOH 1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;

JOH 1:27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.

JOH 1:28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.

JOH 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith,

  2. I believe they have the choice to come back to this world. You know how we get points for our question and answerer's? Well my belief is based on Sylvia Browns theories ---she's made more sense to me than anyone---well the way it's explained is that if you want to get to a higher level you have to go through life again and try to fix things you messed up on. But if you commit suicide you don't get a choice you have to go right straight back and do it over.....we really won't know for sure until we are dead and most people are scared of ghosts so who is going to listen enough to find out?

  3. I believe that when you die your soul goes to heaven and you can hang around as long as you want. You can choose though to go back to earth and live another life. I hope that's what it is haha

  4. We are all on what we Tibetan Bon Nag call "The Wheel of Samsara".  There are six realms on this wheel in which each of us reincarnate over and over again: the human realm, the animal realm, the Gods' ream, the demi-Gods' realm, the hungry ghost realm and the h**l realms.  After each life each of us can and has reincarnated in any one of these realms.  For example, a God dying in his realm could become an animal or a hungry ghost or a human.  A demi god could become human or enter a h**l space, etc.  (What determines this has nothing to do with 'good' or 'evil' by the way)

Immediately after we die we enter into what is called the bardo state--a place in-between reincarnations where an individual is presented with whatever image he finds most pleasing or most terrifying--all to induce him to reincarnate.

An individual who does not know he is dead or who has become attached to his physical body may create a dream body--or as we call them, "ghosts".  These individuals are still in the bardo state.  When the energy of that dream body is used up--they are thurst back thru the wheel and their 'awareness' takes another reincarnation.

There is only one way off the wheel.

  5. I believe all of our lifetimes, or physical focuses, are occuring in this present moment since there is no such thing as time. I believe the illusion of a progression of lifetimes is for the purpose of gradually inveiling reality. I believe that, once we have experienced the entirety of our physical focuses, we realize Universal Consciousness. We no longer have an ego and experience complete oneness with all of Life. I have felt that before and it is too incredible to describe. It is complete freedom and bliss.

  6. There is no logical evidence of any type of life-after-death. Reincarnation is a Hindu belief originally. When someone dies, his consciousness and other life processes end forever, like "a candle in the wind".

  7. Depends on your interpretation of "reincarnation".

I do not believe that this life is all there is.  One shot... that's it.  Sorry.  Doesn't work for me.

However, I don't believe that you keep coming back until you "get it right" -- or are punished for "past crimes" by being reincarnated into a moose.

My "belief" (and you DID ask)... is that when our physical body dies, our "soul" (for want of a better description) passes over.  Over into what... I'm not sure.  But for argument's sake, we'll call it another dimension of existence.  This may be "heaven" for some; but for me... it's where you are liable to bump into some of your favourite, kindred spirits or soul-mates.  And after the reunion, and hugging, and tales of adventure... you all get together and plan your "next adventure".  What you've learnt, and what you would still like to learn.  Experiences you've had, and new experiences you want to participate in.  Places you'd like to visit, life times that you would like to experience.  Then... at the agreed time... you (and some of your "best friends from the spirit world") incarnate on your next adventure/learning experience.

I don't think there is a limitation on how many times you can incarnate; and I don't think this (this planet, this universe) is the only place you can incarnate.  I think the adventure continues until you call "barley".

No disrespect... but I don't think there's any such place as fluffy white clouds full of winged beings and seventy virgins for martyrs.  I think that's nonsense drummed up by some "advertising company".  I also don't believe in a sulphureous underworld where souls are flayed and tortured, and dunked into magma for good measure.  Different "advertising agency", same BS.  (IMHO)

As for ghosts... easiest way to explain them (and I've bumped into more than one) is that I think they're "shadows".  I think that (some times) the veil between dimensions can be ruptured, and those that have passed over can (for a split second) reach across the void.  And if you're lucky enough to have "the gift", you may even get "a message" from them (if they're the communicating type of spirit).  Mind you, I don't think that their "life form" and ours are completely compatible; and that's why they "talk" in images that we can comprehend.  Whether or not we get the message 100% is open to interpretation.  Some times though, I think that we can see them, and they're not even aware of us watching.  That's why (some times) you may see a "shadow" without understanding why they're there or who they are.  They may be "visiting" a favourite moment from their past, without realising that anyone in the vicinity (with the gift) is watching them.

Long-winded, I know.  But you did ask.  LOL

  8. I believe that everyone has the chance to be reincarnated. However, if you were bad in your last life you are forced to go bad in order to learn your lesson whilst if you were good you are given the choice of whether you go back or not.

  9. i think you have the choice when you die.

watch the movie what dreams may come.

its very good and has a theory of everything.

    i love it.

  10. Dead is dead. There are no ghosts. No spirits. Nothing but what you can see, feel, smell, and taste.

But if it were possible, I hope Jesse Helms has came back as an aspiring crack hooker with a raging dose of the clap.

  11. not every one, just the one who haven't learned their lesson the first time through!

    only the ignorant return  LOL!
