  1. until their is real concrete evidence, not at all

  2. Yes, It is happening now. More weather will get bad, places are flooding, temeratures are breaking records, and alot more. I think we should have our number one focus on global warming.

  3. yes because some people don't care about Earth

  4. Yes, I do.   However, my husband believes it a Liberal bunch of propaganda.

  5. No. It's all apart of a natural cycle.

Most of the warming occured in the 1940's, during the pre-Industrial era. When there weren't any factories, and there were NO carbon emissions from humans. It's NOT a manmade thing, and it HAS happened before. (Medieval Warm Period). It's only natural to be warming up after we just left an Ice Age (Little Ice Age).

  6. no lol good question.. was -1 degrees in new york.. hasent been this cold for years

  7. Nope... Hasn't gone up in 10 years...

And these past winters have been pretty snowy compared to before...

Also... where are all of those terrible hurricanes people keep ranting about.

The only reason people are seeing all the "extreme" weather is because it is now being searched for which before we used to just say it was another bad weather event and the media cared for a week or two and then left it unlike nowadays.

  8. yes...just look at how screwed up our weather is now a days compared to a some years back

  9. its happening and some idiots will only relize it when its to late.

  10. Yeah but we're not cavemen and we have technology to slow down global warming, and yes it is happening and it is very real.

  11. I think it is a cyclic change, but I also think it is due to fossil fuel emmisions as well as cfc's.

  12. It is happening.

It's proven that the world is getting warmer.

  13. No. The earth is in better shape than it was 30 years ago this is becuase we are finding better ways to control things like pollution.30 years ago there was no kind of control and people were killing animals with no kinds of laws protecting them.

  14. I believe that carbon is a naturally occurring gas and is a by-product of both life and death. I believe pollution can be poison and it makes no difference if it's warm or cold. And I believe that buying and selling carbon credits if a despicable sin.

I hope global warming kicks in soon. This winter is torture..

  15. If we were all cavemen we wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

  16. Yeah, I do.  But it's part of a natural cycle, and nothing we can stop.  It's happened throughout history, and will continue to happen.  There'll be another ice age upon us.  Imagine all the backpedaling the scientists and politicians will have to do then.  Anthropogenic global warming is a myth.

  17. I am finding it quite frightening that so many people in this forum are questioning whether global warming is a real problem.   Unfortunately, I think most of you are victims of the current administrations ability to poo-poo global warming.  They want you to fear terrorists, not global warming.  As long as we are led to fear terrorists our government will continue to invade the middle east and keep control of the oil that fuels this country and lines the pockets of the financial elite.

For those of you who are skeptical, let me ask you?  If global warming is not true what can be wrong with living a more sustainable lifestyle and weaning our country off the enormous amount of oil we consume that seems to constantly bring about conflict all over the world?  What could be wrong with caring about our environment and wanting to keep it as healthy as it can possibly be?  My thoughts are that most of you are lazy and it's simply easier to not believe in global warming.  If you believe, you might feel guilty every time you fuel up your gas guzzler, or you might feel guilty when you roll out your two giant trash bins on trash day.  Global warming or no Global Warming I choose to be a responsible citizen who cares about what I leave behind for the next generation.
