The earth is warming. After decades of study no skeptical theory has panned out to explain how you can dump massive amounts of CO2, a greenhouse gas,  into the atmosphere without getting global warming. Every known factor has been looked at and CO2 is the only answer that has survived detailed analysis. If there is a reason for the warming that is not CO2, nobody knows what it is.

The problem with AGW adherents is they concoct a theory and then go out and manufacture evidence to support that theory. Those who deny the AGW theory look at the evidence presented by the adherents and compare it with the broad range of scientific data available. So those who follow in lock step the AGW pogrom funded by the oil companies will faithfully align their prayer mats with New York City and if in New York with Rockefeller center and chant the latest mantras provided by the advertising specialists of Exxon /Mobil and its other oil and banking affiliates.

Has no one on the left ever taken the time to notice that oil, gas and other energy costs have risen drastically in lock step with the increasing promotion of the AGW scam.

Yes, it is real. The weather in the seasons have either gone too fast or came too soon. The ice in the north is melting and the polar bears are dying because of it. Scientists have proven that there is a hole in the ozone layer.

Global warming is a proven fact. There is no "believe" oor "disbelieve." People either know the facts or they are ignorant.

It very much is real, caused by us and probably harmful.

Those who think it is a natural cycle haven't been able to actually show what natural cycle it is (we know when the  warming cycles start and we are not in one, nor does solar activity correlate with temperature any more).

The only thing that could be causing the current global warming is human releases of greenhouse gases at a rate higher than nature takes them out of the atmosphere.  Everything else has been ruled out.

Besides, the rate of warming now is faster than any of the natural warming periods we've been able to find in the past (this also brings worries in that we can't be sure things will be alright based on past natural events).

Is it happening?  YES...is it because of humans?  NO....it is a ploy to instill fear into people for political and economical power.  The thing we really need to focus on is getting people to think for themselves and to start using common sense and logic.  In today's society people are to weak to stand on their own and look to people like Gore for guidance.

No, for decades, environmentalism has been the Left's best excuse for increasing government control over our actions in ways both large and small. It's for Mother Earth! It's for the children! It's for the whales!

But until now, the doomsday-scenario environmental scares they've trumped up haven't been large enough to give the sinister prize they want most of all: total control of American politics, economic activity, and even individual behavior.

With global warming, however, greenhouse gasbags can argue that auto emissions in Ohio threaten people in Paris, and that only global government can tackle such problems.

National sovereignty? Democracy?

Forget it: global warming has now brought the Left closer to global government, statism, and the eradication of individual rights than it has ever been before.

Well my BF who studies sciences at college (chem, physics and geology) says that its not true. His chemistry lecturer who studied the chemistry of the atmosphere at uni said that abyone who really knows about the ozone layer and stuff does not believe in it.

Also in geology there are records that this happened before millions of years ago. Humans werent around then.

Its true that we have 'speeded up' this natural cycle, but only by a tiny percentage.

People who don't understand it do not believe in it. If you have half a brain you would see a lot more extreme weather in recent years and realize that it is real.
