Are you trying  to say, it should be called Green House Cash (GHC)? I see a market, but as far as the scientist are concerned. I'm to far away from the bureaucracy to make a informed opinion. I'm glad they started calling it climate change. Actually makes sense and the facts start to add up. While with GW it doesn't,anytime you have to call the same thing a different name. It means your hiding something...why would that be?

Edit: Not true Bob, the connotation behind GW is misleading. Basically meaning it's always warming. I even see it in scientific journals. Which is a disappointment to the whole world. Tell me I'm lying, and I'll finally will be at peace. Do you really want me to start running the links?

it is true because global warming is a phenomena thats cause the heat from the sun did not escape or came back to the outer space that phenomena cause by greenhouse gases and now the greenhouse gases is to much many thats traps the heats to escape.

Im very sceptical about global warming, the earth naturally goes through these fluctuations of heating and cooling, so I dont think theres too much to worry about.

I think global warming is a natural process that through our actions of industry and pollution we have sped that process up.  The environment has warmed up like this many many times.  It has just never been recorded by us because we've never really had to go through it.  Because it usually is many thousand years in between each period.

There's nothing sinister about calling it either global warming or climate change.  Climate change was always the preferred term by scientists.  In the 1970s, some reporter invented "global warming" and it stuck.  These days people use the terms pretty much interchangeably.  Just two names for the same thing.

Actually corporations have much to loose if it is true. Global warming is a very real thing. it has been happening without mans help for about 10,000 years, but man is accelerating the process in record speed.

I suggest you brush up on science, it could mean the end of civilization as we know it.

I would not deny that there will be groups who will financially benefit from global warming.  I doubt that scientist are out to make profit, however funding keeps them going.

Having worked on government projects (what seems like a life time ago), I can tell you the importance of getting congress to provide money for your specific project.  So can it happen?  The answer is yes, is this the case with global warming? only time will tell.

Yes global warming is true.

However, it is not humans that are causing it, that is what they are using to make the money. It is caused by nature and the earth's orbit and shifting. That has been the reason for global warming and ice ages all along.

The refusal did not come as a surprise. Several years earlier, in a peer-reviewed article published by the Norwegian Polar Institute, Dr. Jaworowski criticized the methods by which CO2 levels were ascertained from ice cores, and cast doubt on the global-warming hypothesis. The institute's director, while agreeing to publish his article, also warned Dr. Jaworowski that "this is not the way one gets research projects." Once published, the institute came under fire, especially since the report soon sold out and was reprinted. Said one prominent critic, "this paper puts the Norsk Polarinstitutt in disrepute." Although none of the critics faulted Dr. Jaworowski's science, the institute nevertheless fired him to maintain its access to funding."

I will not say that all scientists are in it for the money, many are in it for political motives.  Environmentalists have been harping on the dangers of burning fossil fuels way before global warming was around.  Just listen to the "even if global warming is not true, it can't hurt" arguments.

That is the biggest obstacle to finding the truth.  These people resort to fear and intimidation to silence any opposition.

Now as for the impressive list of organizations that support AGW theory, They jumped on the bandwagon and said the AGW is true before the actual science of climate actually began.  What kind of credibility can they have?

Global warming is a natural phase of Earth, caused by some Solar Activities by Sun. We human don't have to bother about it. Some of the environmentalist says that this is because of the CO2 we are emitting into the environment, but the reality is that we are just contributing towards 1% to 10% of actual global warming.

If the actual cause of Global Warming is CO2 emitted by the humans then why Global Warming occures on other planets. Just Google for "Global Warming on other planets" and see the results, there are no humans on other planets.

Having too little CO2 in the environment will cause for the plants to die more early, more over it also cools down the temperature on earth.

Having too much CO2 (obiviously, not caused by humans. Mostly generated in the Sea/Oceans) will lead to Green House effect and will lead in increasing the temperature on Earth.

So, the best is to plant more trees so that there would be a balance for the consumption of CO2 on the planet.

I personally think that instead of thinking on this baseless issue try to think on what if Nuclear War broke out in the world, it will destroy Earth more rapidly.

So, next time whenever somebody says you about global warming, just ignore it.

it is complicated

many elements are exploiting or utilizing the concept

but the essence I believe is true

Global warming is but a component, in a group of destructive forces at work such as ;deforestation,desertification,Subsequen... wind and Water erosion,soil and water contamination ,irresponsible or wasteful utilization of bio resources and air pollution.

WHICH WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR.

A while ago one of NASA's top scientists concluded that the Arctic Ocean could be nearly ice-free within five years, much faster than all previous predictions.

when the north pole is gone , you may have polar bears soon in America ,looking for a home ,

Calculations do not include the accumulative ,speeding up ,factor with time. the increase in water temperature will get faster all the time as well as the melting, when the ice is all gone the deeper cold Ocean currents will be drastically affected,which in turn will affect the warm currents,since all moving bodies of water are connected in series.

This will affect coastal climates ,world wide ,almost instantly. All aquatic flora and fauna will be affected,many dying off and others becoming invasive,

And recently In Chiapas ,and Tabasco in Mexico .more then a million people became homeless overnight with water coming up to their roofs ,because of rains from super evaporation from the forests,this had never happened before. Millions of animals died.

In India 3000 people died because of super storms .

.A few years ago in Europe 3500 people,died during a heat wave ,many of them in France .

Right now the average death toll annually is 150.000 due to Global warming

. these figures are already out of date and are expected to double soon.

In Northern China millions of people are running for their lives because regular dust storms so far have buried 900 villages under the sand and the whole of northern China is turning into a dessert.

The Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year all around the edges ,like a slow burning fire shriveling up their neighbors In the Kalahari huge rivers have dried up and thousand of species are gone due to their habitats disappearing .

The biggest changes are invisible at micro biotic levels species are becoming extinct ,others are multiplying ,

This affects the insect populations that follow ,and changes in that ,affect all that follows in the food chains ,

in the last 300 years half of the planets forests have gone

and in the last 50 years

half of our wet lands ,rain forests and ice fields .and 3000 species of animals .

We are now witnessing a mass Extinction of animals and plants of Biblical proportions,equal since the disappearance of the dinosaurs

If we want to save ourselves as a specie ,we have to address

the problems

We can correct most of the destructive factors

with disciplines ,changes of attitude and habits,alternative energies ,sustainable design etc.

All species are in Danger eventually,and each is important because all of Life on this planet is interrelated even if it is not obvious

Imagine that the Eco system is a wall and each specie is represented by a brick

Every brick taken out weakens the wall ,and eventually it will collapse ,which brick is the most important ???
