I would have to disagree with the guy that said people have used religion as an excuse. The fact is a lot of wars start because of the conflict rising between religions. The fight of holy lands.

Sure their might be other reasons for some of them but religion is  what puts them over the edge and the worse part is that they all think they are doing it for their God. So they feel no guilt in making this world more violent.

There is and never has been anything holy about war.

Religion has been used as an excuse for one people to dominate and control another throughout time.  

The survival of the human race depends on getting beyond this childish facade.
