Do you believe in DEMON POSSESSIONS ?

or do you believe that most of the people who are believed to be possessed by demons actually have a mental disorder or some kind of disorder?

Chemical imbalance or attention whores. Those are really the only two types of "demon possessions" there are. One can be cured with Tegratol, and the other kind just needs to be smacked.

I believe it is the people who level the accusation of demonic possession that are the ones with a question mark hanging over their mental state.

I actually saw a demon possessed old woman. She was about 65 years old and living in a private house with her family. I had to visit these people on business and as I drove up to the house and parked my car in their driveway, I noticed her sitting like on her legs in a sort of a beach recliner.  I had to walk past her to enter the house and as I did she hissed at me and went back like a recoiled snake. It scared the dood out of me. Her son told me she was possessed and they had already contacted their church for help. Needless to say I did not go past her on the way out.  This is a true story and why I believe in demons.

It's possible for a person to be completely possessed by demons, but it's rare. Most of the time demons simply seek to manipulate people so that they can gain power over them.

answer: mental disorder totally.  Ever notice how it's Christians or Muslims that become "possessed"?  Only those that believe in demons (or were raised with a belief in demons) ever get possessed?

No. They are either an undiagnosed mental or medical condition or someone that believes in them so strongly that they think that an exorcisms is the only thing that will help them.

Yes I do believe in them. I've not witnessed them personally, but I know people who have.

I'm possessed...  And no, I don't hear voices.  I'm just too old-fashioned and acstract a thinker to be one of the children of this day and age...  possession doesn't mean schizophrenia.
