Do you believe in Global Warming? And why do you believe what you do?

Do you feel that Global warming is a money making scheme for the Government? Or do you feel that we are taking a terrible toll on the Earth for which it may not recover?

No yes or no answers, I need explanations.

global warming is a process that occurs naturally. yes, we have contributed, but a nearly immeasurable amount. money has alot to do with it too. people are influenced by the media, and the data that other people put in front of them. they dont actually do their own research. my dad and i did research together, and he has a PHD. we decided what we think.

Religion is belief.  If you want to believe in something, go to church or consult a mystic.

Global warming is taking advantage of gullible people who believe everything they hear in the news.

There is no question whether or not global warming is happening. It is happening. The question is whether or not the global warming is caused by people.

And let me just say, all the people that say "Durr, that was the coldest winter ever, how could there be such a thing as global warming?" should realize that with a small increase in temperature, the global climate becomes more extreme, because there is more energy in the atmosphere. We are gonna see a lot of records broken in the next few years. Right now the midwest is having a record tornado season, and the south had a record hurricane season, with more hurricanes and stronger hurricanes.

I can't tell you whether global warming is caused by people or the natural cycle of the planet, but it is happening.

Global warming is caused by the CO2 that is released in the atmosphere by cars, factories and everything else. The only thing purifying the air are the trees, which are getting cut down for material. In clean air the sun's radiation gets spread in the air and leaves the atmosphere, but CO2 doesn't let it go. It creates an effect that keeps the warmth in. So I do believe in global warming and I am afraid, but what can a meer human do... Global warming is making money, but also helping people understand things that they did not understand before.

Global warming is not proven so there are many rich bussinessman using global warming topic to buy their technologies. It's a money making scheme. people are just easy to manipulate. like the story  of the little chicken that they believe the sky is falling. they easily buy other people lies.

Three reasons:

1) Man is a relatively small part of the equation... it's like saying that the FLEE on the back of the ELEPHANT is causing the ELEPHANT to DIE.

2) If it exists, why did CHINA have the COLDEST WINTER on record?  Understanding of course that CHINA in one of those countries who's records go back thousands and thousands of years.

3) AL GORE is a MORON.  If he told me the Sun was shining, I'd check to make sure he was right.

i dont believe its a scam i do believe its true becuz if ppl actually remember what the weather was lik when they were younger the weather wasnt as bad and back in the day lik the 70's it was actually safe to get a sun burn but now its not bcuz of all the radiation and heat problems we have nowadays i still think that we can recover if not slow down global warming

Temperatures have dropped in the last 10 years so all those continuing to say we are warming are wrong. Tornadoes, Hurricanes and yes even cancer have nothing to do with global warming. Climate changes happen all the time but we are not the cause nor the solution to it.

I could go on for hours on this but my words would be wasted on those who have bought into the religion of AWG.

Climate change is a money and power grab scheme by the bottom feeder politicians and power brokers. It's nothing to do with ecology and everything to do with money.

Con artist and politicians (here unnamed, but you may call him "Mr. Environment") have enriched themselves on this issue, taking home Oscars, Nobel Prizes and millions of dollars. Meanwhile, evangelical leaders are setting up their flocks for extreme fleecing by leftist politicos who will speak with great charm in the appeal for Christian votes by talking in glowing, biblical-sounding terms about "being good stewards of God's creation."

Here is truth about global warming:

Global warming is one-half of the climatic cycle of warming and cooling.

The earth's mean temperature cycles around the freezing point of water.

This is a completely natural phenomenon which has been going on since there has been water on this planet. It is driven by the sun.

Our planet is currently emerging from a 'mini ice age', so is

becoming warmer and may return to the point at which Greenland is again usable as farmland (as it has been in recorded history).

As the polar ice caps decrease, the amount of fresh water mixing with oceanic water will slow and perhaps stop the thermohaline cycle (the oceanic heat 'conveyor' which, among other things, keeps the U.S. east coast warm).

When this cycle slows/stops, the planet will cool again and begin to enter another ice age.

It's been happening for millions of years.

The worrisome and brutal predictions of drastic climate effects are based on computer models, NOT CLIMATE HISTORY.

As you probably know, computer models are not the most reliable of sources, especially when used to 'predict' chaotic systems such as weather.

Global warming/cooling, AKA 'climate change':

Humans did not cause it.

Humans cannot stop it.

Yes, there is no question that the planet is warming, and all the scientific evidence points to humans as the primary cause.  The current warming is simply not natural.  See the link below for further details.  All the people saying it's natural are making political arguments, but I don't care about politics, I care about science.

for ppl that say humans are a small portion to the big global warming. think about how many humans there are  about 6.5 billion then think about all the wood and trees people are cutting down to use then think of all the food we use. one day real soon we are going to run out the world can only take so much damage until it just breaks. trees and plants are the only thing purifying the air were brething if youre cuting them down, animals are dying and so are we!!
