  1. The scientific data clearly shows this is NOT a natural change.

"I wasn’t convinced by a person or any interest group—it was the data that got me. I was utterly convinced of this connection between the burning of fossil fuels and climate change. And I was convinced that if we didn’t do something about this, we would be in deep trouble.”

Vice Admiral Richard H. Truly, USN (Ret.)

    Former NASA Administrator, Shuttle Astronaut

Here are two summaries of the mountain of peer reviewed data that convinced Admiral Truly and the vast majority of the scientific community, short and long.

    summarized at:

There's a lot less controversy about this is the real world than there is on Yahoo answers:

And vastly less controversy in the scientific community than you might guess from the few skeptics talked about here:

"There's a better scientific consensus on this [climate change] than on any issue I know...  Global warming is almost a no-brainer at this point.  You really can't find intelligent, quantitative arguments to make it go away."

    Dr. Jerry Mahlman, NOAA

  2. If something has to be believed it requires faith, not knowledge.  Science is knowledge, religion is faith.

No one believes the speed of light, or ohm's law, as these are scientific facts that anyone can prove.

Global warming requires a consensus of mystics to determine if people should believe it's real.

  3. yes

  4. Global warming is a natural phase of Earth, caused by some Solar Activities by Sun. We human don't have to bother about it. Some of the environmentalist says that this is because of the CO2 we are emitting into the environment, but the reality is that we are just contributing towards 1% to 10% of actual global warming.

If the actual cause of Global Warming is CO2 emitted by the humans then why Global Warming occures on other planets. Just Google for "Global Warming on other planets" and see the results, there are no humans on other planets.

Having too little CO2 in the environment will cause for the plants to die more early, more over it also cools down the temperature on earth.

Having too much CO2 (obiviously, not caused by humans. Mostly generated in the Sea/Oceans) will lead to Green House effect and will lead in increasing the temperature on Earth.

So, the best is to plant more trees so that there would be a balance for the consumption of CO2 on the planet.

I personally think that instead of thinking on this baseless issue try to think on what if Nuclear War broke out in the world, it will destroy Earth more rapidly.

So, next time whenever somebody says you about global warming, just ignore it.

  5. lol , i believe that humans in vast general are not mentally balanced so we bring disturbance to our world. The real problems is overpopulation , if we were about 100 to 300 millions max , we could all live whit vast space and consume as will like we do know . but we are not 100 millions but at least 1 billion that consume a lot ,  lets take united states they consume 25 % of world ressources ,  how can earth keep up .. impossible .. To shop forest means , change in temperature , more wind , desertification , and thats only forest , we create repercussion on everything else , water , animals , insect , each time we destroy one we make the domino go faster. Its a pain to live in this day and age. sigh..

  6. the sun fish is an animal not previously found outside of a 400mi. boundary of the equator.  now it is washing up on england soil.  when glacier national park was created in 1910 their were 120 glaciers.  now their are 14.

  7. On a question that was put in slightly before yours a young student asked for reputable articles that would be accepted in school by her teachers. I thought hey. Easy 10 points I have access to my University Library with 3 large search engines that contain every peer reviewed article ever published. I first searched for "Global warming" and Hoax.  Zero articles. I then searched for "Global warming" Skeptical. I got 8 hits. Seven only derided skeptical people, and the eighth was a book recommendation. The book did not question global warming, but it did question how much damage would be done by it.

If you show me a peer reviewed article that debunks global warming, is not on the eic web site, and is on a .edu website you might win me over to the maybe column. But you will not be able to find one.

  8. HUMAN EFFECTS & GLOBAL WARMING

Global warming is but a component, in a group of destructive forces at work such as ;deforestation, desertification, soil and water contamination ,irresponsible or wasteful utilization of bio resources , air pollution,Non sustainable Agriculture, over pumping carbon aquifers

all concepts which are definitely not part of the Natural Processes of the Natural world

    WHICH WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR,

The most prolific growth on this planet is part of the day in the mist and most of the time under clouds ,and the least growth is always directly in the sun .

To exchange the one for the other means changing local climates

We are exchanging Nature with Tar , concrete and open spaced mono cultures.

In 300 years half of the planets forests have gone ,and in the last 50 years half of the wet lands ,and rain forests

These Areas absorb heat during the day and release heat at night ,

Cause cloud formation(shade).humidifying the air on the surface as well as releasing excess water at the roots that keep rivers flowing ,which in turn brings more water into the Environment .

As well as contributing to absorbing carbon emissions as do the leaves of the trees together with the oceans .

All in all many factors which directly affect the local Environment .

The loss of the above resulting in rivers drying up ,less rain ,desertification, loss of habitat for many species and so on.

dryer and hotter surface environments which can manifest in different weather patterns such as tornadoes or bush fires

I may be stupid or Naive but somehow i believe that lots of these local environmental changes, can add up to affect global weather, If there are enough of them (and there are)

And then on top of that comes the story of the effects of pollutants released into Nature and especially the Air ,by MAN http://earthissues.multiply.com/photos/a...

A cocktail of events and a lot of the ingredients have MAN written all over them

    However

confusion rules the day ,i am beginning to think that SCIENCE HAS BEEN INVADED WITH POLITICS AND HUMAN EMOTIONS

The truth is being distorted at high levels,

And lies have been weaved in.

Some of the real dangers are being hidden because there are no solutions , Public could panic.and Authorities would loose control .

Besides Corporations have other priorities and changes will cause loss of profits ,this also affects the truths being published

Others facts are exaggerated so that the phenomena can be used to milk the people.

This is further complicated with Arrogance that will not admit that mankind could be guilty, or that Gods could be out of control ,unloving or incompetent

But I do not think we can make a real difference anymore to change the tide.

On a Global scale,Humanity is not co operative enough .

The poor regions have other priorities such as daily survival.

There is a lot we can do about being more responsible with what we got ,

In the first world countries many do not care or are more interested in Global Control than Global Warming.

  9. "GW", is a natural occurance. It's part of coming OUT of the Ice Age. In Biblical Times, it's been said that the Garden of Eden was at a joining of 3 rivers. In TODAY's World, they don't meet, but in B-T they did. The difference is the Red Sea is 700' deeper NOW, due to "GW" melting ice, raising Oceans & Seas. This is a FACT. As there was NO industry, cars, hydrocarbons, etcetera, "GW" is NOT "caused" by humans, nor can humans "control/stop it". It is simply out of OUR hands.
