  1. yeah gd question...

i believe nowadays teachers has favouritism regardless of how a student's personality and attitude and maybe their looks.

  2. yes the human automatically choses a fave its natural it sucks but its true

  3. Oh, absolutely.  Teachers are human beings, after all.

The sign of a good teacher is when steps are taken to correct the situation after the problem is pointed out to him/her.

  4. Okay your son complains about it...what is your point?

  5. I used to be a teacher and to be honest, there were kids I liked better than others.  I am only human and it happens.  One of the difficult things about being a teacher is making sure that I treat all the kids equally regardless of how I feel about them.  I personally think I did a pretty good job of this, but I know there were days when I was sick or tired and worn out when it was really hard to be equal when a kid I didn't like as much was really pushing my buttons.  I know there were times in my teaching when the part of me that is only human came out.  The best thing to do in those situations is to step back, if possible send the child to a different teacher and take a breather, but there isn't always another teacher around to send the kid to.  I know it stinks that sometimes teachers play favorites and I don't mean to defend the teacher, but I don't think we can expect teachers to be perfect all the time.

  6. Yes. Some teachers do show favoritism to certain students. I have seen it when I was in school. It's horrible. I think it's wrong. If your son keeps complaining about it, I'd have a talk either with the teacher he is talking about or the principal. I don't think it's right. Hope this helps.

  7. OH yes I do. I know that they have fav students.

  8. Yes...Some teachers do favor some students...(i.e. grade 8 one of my teachers liked a girl who was a s**t or girls that had low necklines *everyone was happy when we got a new teacher*

  9. What? Do you speak English?

  10. Yeah. One of my teachers hated me. It's a fact of life. Just tell him to suck it up and ignore the teacher.

  11. Teachers tend to favor students that are not disruptive during class and actually pay attention. Ask your son if he is listening to the teacher and doing as he is asked. Make sure your son is respecting his teacher. If he wants respect he needs to earn it by respecting others himself.
