  1. Yes I believe there is life somewhere else in the universe.  It's probably so far away that we will never even know about it.  I believe there is life somewhere else because if life could arise and evolve on this planet, then why couldn't it happen on one of the other trillions of planets out there?  Of course I don't know for sure, but I will always believe there is.  It's almost arrogant to think we are the only planet in this huge universe with life.

  2. Yes because it is arrogant to believe this planet could be the only one in the universe with "intelligent" life, and many hundreds of people throughout the world claim to have seen them and despite being ridiculed buy governments and the media they cant all be wrong

  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJirnJSwq...

  4. I believe there has to be a certain species of life form in the whole universe. I mean, if you think about the size of the world its HUGE!

And the universe holds trillions, even more, galaxies. Each galaxy holds billions of planets. So at least one planet has to have oxygen, water, and some kind of food for any living organism to live. If this isn't good enough, watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDOOZ_IPb...

It has major proof that there is something out there. It is about the mexican air force spotting ELEVEN ufos. First it shows a fox news clip, then the actual video sent by the mexican air force, and then it shows a clip from cnn

    Hope this helps,

    Rc

    P.S

if this is to much info sorry dude i just really want best answer and its also becuz i love astronomy and space

  5. i do  belive in anothewr life on another plannet ,but not creatures how we think of them , i have seen u f o , and the other week over ashburton uk there were sightings , and the other evening in torquay uk ,

they are 1000's of years more advanced than us  so there fore they have machines that can fly across the universe transporting their life ,,,, why cant it happen ,, we send rockets to the moon ,a nd  have the space hubble telescopoe going around our solar system , if we lived on another plannet and saw the hubble telescope ,. and new not what it was , we would term it a ufo.

Modern revelations says that god has created many plannets befroe thjis earth ,. and many are to follow, and the life on them are his children , so there fore there is ;life on other plannets ,,, just not in our solar system

look up in the night constantly ,, you will see they are THERE

  6. The best and only reasonable solution to the Fermi Paradox is that we are the ONLY show in the town: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fermi_parad...

But if you just HAVE to believe in ETs and UFOs, they have something special in store for you. Google/youtube: "Project Bluebeam"

Type III 'aliens' and fake 'messiahs' just in time for 2012! Many will be fooled...

Later, ask yourself how we knew in advance:

  7. yes. if you have a copy of the bible, read genesis and exodus, those verses narrating what happens every time 'the Lord' arrives and talks to Moses.  And in revelation also, in that verses where Jesus speaks with John.

  8. Due to the vastness of space, there is a high probability that alien exist.

Due to the vastness of space, there is an extremely low probability that alien ever came to visit us (and depressingly, also a low probability they will ever; as well as an equally low probability we'll be able to do so ourselves).

  9. There is NO PROOF of any aliens of anykind.

  10. I believe in the POSSIBILITY of aliens on different planets. But I see no convincing evidence that any of them are visiting Earth. And I see no proof that aliens do even exist at all, even on other planets. But I still think it is possible that we will find proof some day.

  11. 100%

I have seen ufos before and I know that they can't have been anything from this world!

  12. I will sometimes entertain the theory that there might be other planets with a breathable atmosphere, inhabited by humans so far ahead of us in technology and intelligence, and We don't know because We are not worth visiting. We are cavemen to them. 90% of the Universe is unaccounted for.

  13. I agree with all the  answers so far!...with the added dilemma of who said we didn't come from another planet or universe?(at some time; 4billion years before the advent of religion; and all that unfounded rubbish?).

  14. There are an estimated 100,000,000,000 Stars in the Milky Way and an estimated 200,000,000,000. galaxies in he universe. There is an unfeasibly massive number of stars in the universe.  It would seem highly likely that there is some kind of life out there.  However I think the question should be what is the likelihood of intelligent life?

  15. There just has to be another form of life somewhere else in space.

    It's just sooooooo big!

  16. Given that the Universe is Infinite...

(Which I haven't checked, but I am told this)

It would be odds of 1 to infinity, that we are the only life form in existence in a never ending Universe

I'm not saying they've been here, only that they are out there somewhere!

  17. I think it's stupid not to believe in aliens.  Think of this, there are trillions and trillions of planets out there, The universe is expanding.

Why would we be the only planet with life?

People these days need to be more open minded.

    People don't know it all.

  18. Absolutely!   I honestly believe that life is extremely abundent throughout our galaxy, let alone the universe!  There are probably millions of planets in our galaxy with life. I have no proof that there is life outside of our solar system, however I do have proof that life does exist on earth so who is to say it could exist somewhere else.  Life probably came from somewhere else anyways.  I don't think the life that exists on earth actually started here.  There are about 3 * 10^22 stars in the universe.  Lets give it a low estimate and say that there are 5 planets per each star.  That would mean that there are 15 * 10^22 planets in the universe.  Earth is 1 of 150000000000000000000000 planets.  It is crazy to think we are the only ones.  I think it's time to start solar system hopping.

  19. If we can all bacteria aliens, then by all means YES! There's a bigger probability of bacteria and other forms of microorganisms existing on earth-like planets, than some bug-eyed green humanoids with antennaes for ears.

You have to ditch the sci-fi stereotypes and consider that most planets are much harsher than the earth, and bacteria are the most likely form of life to survive there.

In fact, extraterrestrial life could exists in our own solar system! Mars and Europa (one of Jupiter's moons) have a chance of hosting such life.

We just haven't explored space well enough to make conclusions about extraterrestrial life.

  20. I want to.. BUT THE EVIDENCE IS POOR.. ^_^

  21. people claim to have seen ufos, even my aunt said she saw a white line in the sky, just hovering. Now since this is a very delicate subject, unless i see it i cant believe it. There have been reports written in history that there were mysterious flashing lights forming a triangle above some US city. .. Maybe..

Ok i got a point to make now. We adapt to our surroundings, polar bears grow fur to adapt to the low temperatues. Earth use to have a lot of carbon dioxide so what happened? plants grew, ate the CO2 and produced oxygen. (Puttin it simply, im not goina go into the chemistry behind it). Similiary , after suffecient oxygen ammounts we were born. A species which were dependant on oxygen

now finally to get to the point... i believe there are a lot of other civilizations out there in the universe because you dont need oxygen and water to grow. THese 2 things are the fundemental ingredients to harvest life in OUR world...but how much do we know about the universe. I believe theres things out there which have adapted to their surrounding, wether it be lacking water and oxygen or not.

So YES i do believe there are aliens out there. Whether they've visited us...im not sure.

  22. Wherever you are right now, go to a wall and make a small mark on it, like a dot, with a pencil or something. Now take a few steps back and look at the mark on the wall. Now look at the whole wall. The dot is Earth and the wall is the universe, assuming the universe has boundaries, which it doesn't. I find it hard to believe that the dot, or Earth, is the only place in the whole universe with life on it.

But sometimes I think they’re real! How is it possible that we on earth are the only things living in the huge, vast universe? The universe is so big, that scientists can’t even map it. I think it’s crazy to think that we are the only beings here. They say that life would be unsustainable on planets without oxygen, well, what if those aliens thrived on natural gas, or methane? Who knows? We don’t believe people who say they’ve seen aliens but yet ...

The Truth Is Out There!! (<>..<>)

  23. Yes. Why? Because we can't be so stupid as to think that in the boundless universe Earth has the only life form.

  24. I do.  Mainly anything we can create or imagine comes from somewhere, and I believe that is the infinite knowledge of all  past, present, and future, that us mortals can't totally access.  If the idea of aliens exist then it is from knowledge of them.  Whatever we can think can or has come to be at some time.

  25. I most certainly do believe that Earth cannot be the only inhabited planet in the universe and that there are intelligent beings on other planets.
