Do you believe in astrology ? Like two star signs being compatible or un-compatible ?

My personal opinion i would have to be i think is kind of silly! I mean its what the person is like not what star sign is supposed to suite you best?

And with horoscopes ,check different magazines, newspapers or internet for the same day/week half the time they all say something completely different and don't have anything with in the same meaning! Silly.. i really don't think its true!!.

Do you or don't you believe in astrology horoscope stuff .

AND WHY is that ?

  1. I don't know because sometime... my horoscope speakes the trurth but then it chats rubbish..#

When it comes to compatibleness it seems to tell the truth which is strange..

  2. I don't believe in astrology at all but, I just read my sign for fun and laughter!

  3. I believe in the different signs and their characteristics. Only because I see those exact characteristics in myself, and in the people around my (depending on their sign) I highly doubt that all of that is pure coincidence. The Daily horoscopes are weird because sometimes they have been dead on for me, and other times they have been dead wrong. As far as compatibility goes, I think that completely depends on two things... chemistry between two people, and their own personalities.

  4. I do. I mean God created the whole universe including the stars. So he must have arranged the stars like they are purposely I think. That's how I see. I never believed in them before and used to think it was fake until my friend described me from my zodiac sign and it was all true. (I'm Gemini, I think horoscopes aren't always true though.)

The compatibility thing I believe in sort of. They said that Gemini and Libra were good matches and I believe them. I've noticed that I do get along well with Libra and maybe better then all the other signs.

  5. I belive in science and think that Astrology is part of Astronomy, but not horoscopes, natal astrology...

  6. yes,  b/c it's fun

  7. If you know the exact time and place you were born- I can create a natal chart that is uniquely YOU.  I agree with what you wrote- there is a lot of b.s. out there.  However up until the 1930's- Astrology was an accredited science.  Evangeline Adams was actually jailed for her writings on the matter.  the three wise men following the star in the east to get to baby Jesus?  Astrologers also.

  8. Creep, I definitely believe in Astrology, because a lot of what happens was already predicted.

  9. I believe in Astrology, where understanding the signs, the houses they are in, determine the whole chart of a person.  Not just sun sign, but the others as well, Moon, Ascendant, etc.  I like reading about the Cosmic astrology, where and what the plantets are for the day and their meanings, because they affect everybody.

    Also with what Rachstar says

  10. I hope I believe. I have been a practicing astrologer for over 20 years...

But the horoscopes in the newspapers? They're c**p.

A personal birth chart reading by a professional, based on your birthday and time, is very accurate.

  11. I do believe in astrology, but not the silly horoscopes in newspapers or magazines. Those are just gimmicks to make money and keep people entertained. True astrology is a science that must be studied in depth for years to be completely understood. No person is just one sign, and compatibility is based on much more than the months each person was born in. When creating someone's birth chart, you must know the exact time of birth, and the precise location the birth took place. You will have a number of planets that each have a different meaning and correspond to a different area of your life. The Sun sign, the sign that goes by the month you were born in, is at the core of your personality, and that is why there has been such an emphasis on Sun sign astrology; however, the influences in the chart can sometimes completely drown out those of the Sun's. The Moon sign is very important, and sometimes more important than the Sun, because it reflects your emotions and inner desires. You also have your Mercury, how you communicate, your Mars, representing your actions, and all of the other planets along with it, including Pluto. Then you also have to take into consideration which house they fall in. There are 12 different houses, and each one has a different way of affecting you. There are also the aspects. Depending on the degrees the signs fall in, they make certain aspects to each other, like being in conjunct or square, etc. Each of those has a different meaning, and influences you in a certain way. For example, I have my Sun square to my Moon, which is considered a hard aspect, and my thoughts and feelings are often at odds. It doesn't have to limit you, because in a way it teaches you to grow and work with these areas. Just as the positive aspects make certain things in your life easier. So, really it's all so complex, and each factor must be taken into consideration. After a while, it becomes so tedious that it's not even worth it to know. You just live your life, and things work out the way they are supposed to. Free will is always at play, and I only use astrology as a guideline to help understand myself and others. I don't let it rule my life, and I don't let it define me.

  12. Which type?

There is no evidence that can pass testing. No one can name anything that astrology can do better than random chance. Or better than science. Or better than simpler and more likely alternatives.

And for last.... There is a million dollars waiting for the first person to prove astrology can do what is claimed. Ten years and waiting.
