  1. I halfly believe that.

i mean like my mom is always talking about fate...like how she thinks that some peoples lives are already destined to die. Like everything was already planned.

But you know htat saying ''you have to choose your own path?'' or something like that. well if people are saying that, then what happens in the future depends on you. you have to make it happen, u cant just leave you life in someone's else's hands..

its like if your saying that life is already destined, then you can be sitting on the couch all day and you dont hav to do anything, fate will do it foryou.

so im leaning on the fact that i have to take things in my own hands.

  2. Yes and No. I believe everything happens for a reason becasue god has our life planned but I also believe that we have the ability to change fate. I think thst we are able to change our attitudes and what fate has planned for us

  3. Okay, I have a strange view on fate. I believe in it, but at the same time, I don't. See I believe that we have the freedom of choice. Real honest to goodness choice. But I also believe that if there is something out there that is meant to happen, then all your choices will lead you back to that.

So if you are fated to meet someone, and you would have met them on the bus, but you decided to walk instead, then that person might end up deciding to go to the same coffee shop you frequent. Fate will keep throwing itself in your path, but it's your choice as to when you end up meeting with fate.

  4. fate- everything happens for a reason.yes.

    i do belive that.

because i belive that god has everything planned out and knows whats going to happen before it happens. he does everything for a reason and with a plan.

when you meet someone new god lead you to that person for a reason

when you make a mistake .. its not really a mistake because thats the way god planned it out.

i could tell lots of stories but im leaving rite now to go deap sea fishing =]] yay.. sorry, good luck

    xx katie

  5. Nope, destiny. Fate is when we don't know where we are going and something happens by chance, serendipity. If however we know what we want then the universe conspires to help us get there.

  6. sumtimes it depends on what the subject is about

  7. Fate is many things; who I was born to, where I was born, the people and resource's available to me.  Everyone will be challenged from birth until death to survive in conditions that they are surrounded with and then as adults choose to surround ourselves with.  I believe that hope and faith are a powerful strength that can make an extreme difference. Fate to me is getting past a challenge or enjoying the blessings that are available to us, with a healthy attitude that you are responsible and accountable for your own life and the love and respect of others.

Having God's guidance and support has offered me the strength to accept the things I can not change with the courage to change the things I can not accept and the wisdom to know the difference

    Peace Be Still

  8. FATE:

    1. the will or principle or determining cause by which things in general are believed to come to be as they are or events to happen as they do.

2.a predetermined course of events often held to be an irresistible power or agency.

These are the two meanings of fate I found. The first definition doesn't seem to make sense. It is too random. For example, why are people always searching for a higher ideal? A better answer? A longing to feel better about themselves? Wanting perfection? To fill their hollowness inside?

The second definition probably has a more believable approach for people. At least it has a definitive meaning. Many people believe there is much more to life than being born, living whatever kind of life they do, then dying - and that's it. So, a "predetermined course" sounds very sensible, and to some, comforting. Many people are afraid of dying because it is an unknown. Fear of the unknown is a common phobia and can be a contributing factor to a series of mental health problems.

I would like to reserve my personal opinion of this particular question. I have distinct opinions that may offend someone or they would not understand. And I don't want to air them in such a public forum, then be attacked for thinking such a way. Thanks.

  9. The only fate I believe in is death, because you can not escape death. Other than that, everyone chooses their lifestyle and how to design their free will whilst they breathe in their lives. Somebody get that spell checker off my d**n computer!
