  1. I am a pychic and we are real but it is your choice to beilive us or not i personally am not going to force you but others might

  2. ya even traot cards are real my friend did one on her siter in law and now she is now having a girl soon

  3. I don't know,  but I was thinking about trying one out someday for the he'll of it.

  4. Most are fakes but I think some really believe they have powers.

  5. Remarkable coincidence.I have yet to meet someone like this.

  6. I think that some people definitely have the gift.  It really is amazing how they can sense what has happened or will happen to you just by reading your energy.

My Grandma went to one who predicted that she would move away from the city, into the mountains, and marry a cowboy.  My Grandma laughed at the time because it seemed so far fetched to her, but everything wound up happening.  It was really amazing.

Some people, however, will pretend to have the gift just so that they can get your money.  So look out!

  7. many are fake; I have met one or two real ones.  I base this on their ability to tell me something odd about my past without asking me any questions at all.

But most are frauds who are slightly talented at reading body language and giving a vague answer. You will come into money, marry , have children, etc.

  8. no. they get there answers from the demons and demons can lie,so it's all bogus.

  9. Not at all.

  10. Fortune tellers are trained in the art of trickery. They get information out of you without you realizing it, then tell you that info. Wow, how did they know that? You just told them.

They also (like the horoscopes in newspapers and online) give general "fortunes", which can be applied to anything, and will therefore happen. "You will receive a phone call from someone you care about." And then your husband calls to tell you that he has to work late, or something like that. Wow, that's amazing! But, then again, wouldn't he usually do that anyway?

If the "fortune teller" predicts something way outta whack, something that would never happen, it's a different story. Then, the prediction "sticks" in the person's mind, sometimes laying dormant for years. It influences them, subconciously, to make decisions that will eventually lead to the prediction coming true. This is not accurately predicting the future, however. It's cleverly planting instructions in a person's mind.

  11. Fortune tellers are one of the oldest forms of scam artists. Any correct information they tell you comes from you. They may say they see a person with a J-sounding name, and the person having THEIR fortune read will usually start giving all the info the fortune teller needs.

Also, people who go to those readings have a tendency to emphasize the things the fortune teller got right, and they also forget all the stuff they didn't get right. Do a search for "cold reading," which is the technique most widely used by scam arti, err, I mean fortune tellers/psychics.

  12. I won't say that they are con artists. It's just that they know how to help you using psychology. It is your blind faith that gets you to believe what they say. Sometimes blind faith helps an individual better than if you are skeptical.

In other words you use them (Fortune Tellers) in order to get in touch with your own beliefs. They become your focus point. Many people cannot afford Psychologists, so go to a Fortune Teller and tell them everything and receive the 'remedy' put in different words by them. You pay a fraction of the cost and you don't have to wait for an appointment.
