Do you believe in ghosts

I watch that show A Haunting on the Discovery channel and I think they are entertaining, but I never experienced anything myself. I want to believe I think it would be cool

It's not a good idea to "want to believe" in anything. If you do, you see only data that seems to support your pet beliefs and ignore much stronger evidence that disproves them. Some of our saints wrote that dead people stay in their graves until Judgment Day. Educated Catholics thus know ghosts aren't real.

Ghosts aka Spirits are real.  Spirits have been well documented and seen by many individuals, myself being one.  But its not a cool or entertaining thing to experience.   It can be quite frightening because you don't know which spirits are around you.  They could be a deceased loved one, or they could be (and often are) an evil spirit here to cause harm.  Encounters could include voices whispering in your ear, feeling cold, hearing a loud bang, glasses breaking, seeing someone in your bedroom in the middle of the night, having terrifying "ghost" dreams that feel real (because it actually did occur but they came to you in your dreams), being physically attacked with pain all over your body. Evil spirits even attach them-self to people for years, draining their energy and giving them negative feelings causing anger and aggression (this is quite common but people do not realize it is happening to them).  Evil spirits cause torment and seek to drive people away from religion and into sin.  Why? Because it is a battle between good and evil, they want to steal souls. Don't wish that on yourself because if you continue to seek an experience it will happen, and when it does you'll regret it.

read the posts already put up...there's a lot of believers as well as none believer's, so get ready for ppl telling u that ghosts are FAKE.

I believe in them and I also watch all those shows on Discovery Channel, Sci-Fi Channel and A&E.

There is a site on the web called about.com/paranormal. Every month they have true ghost stories and spotlights on a lot of paranormal subjects along with a monthly newsletter you can join. I have been a member for four years and love it. They have numerous links to everything paranormal. They also have a photo gallery and EVP's too. If you like to read true paranormal stories posted by everyday people they have the greatest stories and have an archive going back several years. Each month there are approximately thirty stories posted.   I have a lot of stories to tell and will post some here shortly. Hope you like the site.

cant say i do i havent seen one yet i watch taps and all but on tv you can do anything you want trick photography so im stick with no  though some of them episode look pretty convincing opinions are like azzholes everyone has one

i do. i feel like you do, i have never really seen anything that could be a definite paranormal event, but i am enthralled by any ghost story...well real ones, not cheesy obviously fake ones just meant to spook people. theres a cool website www.shadowlands.com that has hauntings by state and town, i found a few in my town and was totally creeped out reading about it the other night lol.

oh yeah and "A Haunting" is definitley an awesome show!

The thing of it is, you don't even realize what you had just experienced until after it's over, and then you're like, what was that?

So unlike the movies where the creeps come out of mirrors or floorboards and intentionally scare you, that doesn't happen.

It's just like walking down a busy street in Los Angeles minding your own business and the next thing you know, you just walked past a celebrity. And then you're like, was that who I think that was?

I know how you feel I want to believe in fairies and the abominable snow man I watch all the TV shows on them. I've never seen any myself and I know they are not real but I want to believe in them anyway 'cos it is so cool to believe in some thing pretend.
